I am missing something.
Money via NIL to our own players is a good thing so we are willing to pay more . But shouldn’t Name, Image, Likeness mean something appears on the apparel?

Ha I just scrolled through quickly and didn't even notice that was a football jersey because it's missing the white trim around the sleeves and the Big Ten logo on the chest. Better than nothing I guess. At least the numbers are tackle twill and not the cheap ironed-on numbers that eventually start cracking. For that price, hopefully they're sewn on instead of ironed on but I doubt it.

I've ordered two - they are iron-on numbers unfortunately and I expect the cracking eventually. They also run small so I'd suggest a size up.

I did get this response from Campus Ink on why no NIL Rutger Football Jerseys. Told them lost NIL $$ opportunity for our players and hope they can work things out with Rutgers.

“Unfortunately do to some licensing roadblocks with the school, we cannot produce football jerseys for Rutgers. We're looking at doing some "shirsey" type of designs to try and get something comparable. Thank you for your interest! “

Usually the team's on-field jersey manufacturer has exclusive rights, so the only way we'd be able to buy a Rutgers jersey with a player's name and number is if Adidas produces it. Why they aren't doing so, considering they could just iron on the names and numbers for dirt cheap, is anyone's guess. I bet it won't be long before the jersey suppliers also grab exclusive rights for the player name/number t-shirts too like Reebok did when they got the rights for NHL jerseys. Then the selection will be limited and the prices will increase.
