Lord give me strength.🤬
Seems like the AD search, hire , fire and search again since Mulcahy was forced out has been one misadventure after another
Pernetti might not have been, but the Rice incident made it so.
Seeing how Hermann & Hobbs worked out I suggest whoever is put in charge of the search for RU AD game-show
dismiss the idea of hiring anyone with a surname that starts with H

Maybe Tate realizes that 11 months is too long already and just brings in his own people with no search firm?
Hmm.. like he already has someone in mind so fire the search firm and just do it without getting an opinion from the search firm. Just hope it doesn't mean some politically-connected are pushing him (like Kate Sweeney did for Ms. Hermann).

While I hope you are correct... ohh.. like they weren't laying in wait for him? C'mon now. AD and the AD's budget is too sweet a plum to go ignored by them... probably starting with Governor Murphy. We lost the interim AD to Tufts, Now we have to overpay or do something unexpected.. like just give an interim title to Jeff Towers. Buy him some mentor and coach for the position whose reputation wouldn't be tied to Rutgers athletic success and not tie them down for other offers. Better than no one and I'd bet he'd figure things out quickly enough. We were on the right track with the NHL exec but how many such people are still out there? People who we'd want and who'd say yes?

It's getting sadly comical . I wonder how much money we wasted on this

Yes this site is getting comical. A few days ago you accused anyone who questioned the search process of being "trolls." Now you and the other sacred cows on the dying site have been completely humiliated once again.

They don't need a new search firm because Greg Schiano will be taking over the AD role after this season.

I would love to hear the search firms view on this. I would bet its along the lines of 'the outside the box person you want either doesn't exist yet or there are only a few of them and you can't afford them'.

Save the money. The investigations are over. Bring back Hobbs.

I only called you a troll, under whatever your username was 6 names ago, when you posted the thread on Greg being the next AD. I never questioned the search process.

Football and basketball season ticket holder for 42 years. It is like they are giving me every reason to not renew next year. I already follow a bunch of schools so I have someone to root for.

Maybe RU dodged a bullet here with Lafemina, who clearly wasn’t all in. It’s like asking someone to marry you, they sometimes decline. No different here and failed searches happen in corporate America. None of those companies go under because of it.

Hmmmm.....seems I was correct.
Deputy AD from LSU coming to RU as the AD. 😁
I had that feeling myself

Don't count out Rutgers President Tate using old ties and reaching out Keli Zinn Executive Deputy Director of Athletics and Chief Operating Officer for LSU Athletics..
She was interim AD at WV before going to LSU
Can't say if she's being considered, but a better guess than thinking about Greg being given the job.
There a Deputy AD at Wisconsin that might deserve a look-see
