Rutgers v Kansas on TV?

I just checked: BTN 585 is showing Central Michigan at Michigan State at noon on Saturday.
Come on guys...somebody must know.
Some friendly advice: When you're asking people for basic Google-type information a day in advance, maybe don't whine that they're not answering you quickly enough.
Get the BTN2Go app and you can pick your game and watch it on your mobile/computer/Roku, without having to worry about navigating your unwieldy cable package.
Or, doesn't Verizon FIOS have some kind of browse/search feature that lets you quickly scan through all the football games at that time to find the channel of the one you want? You have some time, after all.

Yes I saw that on the guide but the BTN game finder said 585 in this market so I'm going to assume that's correct. The channel guides are wrong sometimes.
No it's not hard to find using the Fios Channel Guide. But the Channel Guide currently states that on BTN channel 585 on Saturday at Noon will be the Central Michigan at Michigan St game. That is the reason ScarletEd was asking in the original post.
Why wouldn't optimum carry the game either? BTN gamefinder says channel 413 or 720 in this area. I'm not sure if that's still accurate though because optimum changed the placements of their channels recently IIRC. I think the sports channels are in the 200s.
I have Optimum in Lakewood and the RU/KU game will be on the regular BTN network: channel 247.

That should not be necessary . For Christ's sake it's our Home Market...BTN should have it on the NewYork market they so craved. I want to DVR it....should have these headaches....forget BTN2Go.
The game is on everywhere in NJ. Relax, guys. Use the BTN game finder and punch in your satellite/cable info.
I'll be getting it on BTN2go and air-dropping it to my apple tv box connected to wide screen HD TV. IOW, I'll be streaming it.
Assuming you have the Optimum BTN channel, go to your regular BTN channel (for me it's 247) and hit the SEL button. Then use the right arrow to go to the next hour and the next and the next until you hit 12:00 tomorrow. It should say RUTGERS vs. Kansas.
IIRC, BTN2Go archives games so you can watch later.
It sounds like they will have it on in the NY market, but if you're unsure - BTN2Go is a nice backup to have.
Yeah, when I scroll across it says Central Michigan at Michigan State at 12:00 tomorrow. I have FiOS and live in Jersey City.
But the BTN Gamefinder says RU/KU will be on instead. So I hope that's right:

I'm almost positive we had this same issue last year for one of the games. The channel guide showed one thing but the RU game was on in this market as you'd expect. BTN game finder says it and the precedent from last year tells me don't trust the channel guide and go with the assumption it will be shown on the main BTN channel in this market.

kind of sucks when everyone has such a simple answer. And then you go back to the channel that everyone on here and the game finder says the game will be on and it still does not show our game.They may be right but some of the condescending are uncalled for. Some of the know-it-alls forget that we are a community here online and it is nice to come in and just ask a question instead of banging your head in frustration.
anyway- I ran into the same issue you are talking about. BTN 85/585 clearly states it is the MSU game- so doing a search on the fios guide is NOT going to lead you to that channel. I then remembered that there was a game similar to this last year and I had found it somewhere in the 300's- in the last how many years, I don't recall ever having a reason to venture into the 300's. But, 331 clearly states it will be the BTN "regional" game.
What I did was DVR both 85 and 331. That way, I am pretty sure to get the game on one of those channels.

I live in Georgia and have Xfinity/Comcast. What I don't get is that the main BTN network is listing the Michigan St. game at noon. There are also two BTN overflow channels which i'd assume are for other games not being shown on the main BTN channel. Yet both of those are also listing the same Mich St game at noon.
In Georgia I don't know that the main channel will show it but I'd assume one of the overflow channels will. The channel guides aren't perfect and can be wrong sometimes.
I set my fios set-top box recorder for 585 at noon and... got nothing. What did you get?
It was on the main channel, 585. What does nothing mean? You got the CMU/Mich. St game or nothing at all.
