I can't fault him for any mistakes he makes today. He's hasn't personally been given the best chance to be 1-0 this week.
I do not blame Hicks, I blame flood for setting him up to fail.

Hicks made a bad read but did all he could to recover. It is what it is.
Martin and James look pretty solid so far today. I love watching Martin run. He is elusive and runs angry.

Jet sweep and end around to Grant, empty backfield quick screen to Martin, good thing we didn't put these on film against better teams so Army couldn't prepare for it.
You know, I remain a big critic of having Hicks move to safety today - but if James is close to 100%, it could be a good thing because our three headed rotation dropping to two will help Martin and James stay in a rhythm.

Missed a wide open TE and another time out AFTER a FIRST DOWN. Refs take time and stop the clock to reset the chains for first downs in college football... come on!

Gotta love Martin's body language after the time out was called. It was like: "Seriously? Let's go!"
I live in Georgia and we are deep in the high school playoffs. A local team pulled a road upset last night and ran out the final 1:52 in victory formation because the other team was out of timeouts. Here is a quote from the local coach: "I don't know why they burned all those timeouts, but I'm thankful we were able to go into victory formation there at the end."
The lack of clock and timeout management by this staff is amazing.

RBs that were put in a position to be 1-0 today by playing the position they've played all year are doing well.
Good to see us with a little bit of life and imposing our will at the LOS (regardless of the opponent...).
