Can't find it on youtube. I think that chest thumping video was super cool. I can see recruits visualizing themselves in the environment. Chest thumping physicality. They are doing a great job being creative, the music, the chants, the cannon, a little of the old, a little of the new. Nice work on their part.

I agree, I thought it was really cool. I could definitely see this being something the crowd does in sync sort of like the 3rd down guitar. The riot squad should make that happen.

I only go to 1 game/year because of work and compared to last year the music is 100% better at getting the fans fired up - chest thing is pretty cool too.

Don't know if you noticed, but the student section WAS doing it in sync. No urging from us (Riot Squad) necessary. Absolutely awesome.

It was great. I saw a preview for it on Instagram and it got we pumped for the game during my lunch break mid week. Whoever thought of that deserves a pat on the back
My son showed it to me on Friday.

Had no idea it would be this cool.

Oh ok that is awesome! I couldn't tell as I was sitting in 119 directly across the stadium from the student section. I was doing it but I didn't see too many people around me doing it. Students have been great! It would be awesome if the whole stadium was doing it.

It was the best thing they've come up with since the Knight storming through campus pregame video. It led into one of the EDM songs that really get the student section fired up.

I would like to see it saved for key moments when the crowd needs extra juice. It'd be cool if we never used it against poor opponents or lopsided games. Once or twice a game, when we need a stop, would be special.

Also, there are too many different "fire up the crowd" pregame things going on. Knight on campus video, Knight riding out on horse live, chest thumping/wolf of wall st, Thunderstruck, foam knight on ATV, marching band entrance, team running out with horn, fireworks....this should be whittled down to focus the crowd energy.

I never saw the movie. So I was a little confused when I saw all the students doing the chest bump when they played that song before the team ran out of the tunnel. Nevertheless, it was amazing to see them all doing that together, unplanned, and gives you chills. Let's hope for OSU we can recreate/better that atmosphere, and this time finish the deal.

is the guitar thing done elsewhere?...... a couple of Mich st fans were watching with interest as though they had not seen that before, and this is not
the first times visitors were doing so

Loved the chest thump stuff too, and I would love to see it catch on.

Splice Brian Leonard doing it in the video, and it grows.

Thumping that Nike logo like that makes me think Nike should be tossing some product placements dollars our way.

Are you kidding me? What a bunch of horse ****. Only an asshat org like the NFL would be so short sighted. It's free advertising for ALL involved.
Are you surprised? The NFL has always been this way. You can wear this, but don't wear that and on and on...

I don't either. Seems kinda low key and slow. Didn't get me pumped, kinda seemed like a break from the excitement. 'But if the kids like it...'

"That's something I'll do before scenes to relax myself, get my voice to drop. I've been doing it for a while, but it's just something I do," he says in his typical, easygoing McConaughey style, as if it's a perfectly normal thing everyone does.

DiCaprio spotted McConaughey off-camera, casually beating his chest, and asked Scorsese if they could put it into the movie. McConaughey saw some genius in this, explaining on the show (as he snaps and beats his chest some more), "Now I'm getting him on the same rhythm, because now he understands, pass the torch."

Beyond being a smart film-making move, the origin of the scene proves that Dazed and Confused-era McConaughey lives on, humming himself into a zen-like rhythm before going into any performance. "On the way down the hallway I was sure humming and making noises," he says. "I wasn't beatin' my chest, but I was definitely finding a rhythm."

I like it even more now.... "I wasn't beatin' my chest, but I was definitely finding a rhythm."

A football game is so much about finding a rhythm, you hear it all the time, "The offense was in a rhythm", etc.

I know the "game" today is about guys beating their own chest, but the rhythm part is outstanding.

I noticed on twitter an MSU writer said Rutgers has one of the more underrated entrances in the country. I can't find the link right now.
The best part about the wolf of wall street/edm song was that is was something different. We don't have to play the White Stripes "Seven Nation Army" every time now. We have a little variety in the pump up music.
I also thought it was kinda cool when I saw the MSU sidelines jumping up and down to it. You know youfhave something good when both side lines are getting pumped up.

The song & video were awesome & a great addition. The song is an EDM song called The Hum by Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike & Ummet Ozcan. Here's the NSFW music video for it, which is an epic video with Charlie Sheen & Jean-Claude Van Damme:

I'd like to see Rutgers post our full video like they did with the Scarlet Knight riding into the stadium.

I was just thinking, "Nope. No. No, that's our music, bring your own next time."

The NFL has told RU not to use that music anymore.
Where did you hear this? And I hope we are just going to ignore it. If you sit down to analyze the inspiration for every video/song we have, we'd have nothing left. One can argue that the weapon of mass destruction (for its time) that we fire off after every point is the glorification of senseless murder and is not in the best interests of the gentlemanly sport we all love. I hope Rutgers recognizes the art and spirit of that video and doesn't bow to political pressure.
