He made the right choice I would have advised him to leave after 3
If he was that banged up why was he even sent out to wrestle, Barr/Cotton/ etc, in meaningless matches when the dual was already at hand?

Thought wrestling was supposed to have depth for a reason. Perhaps Poz’s situation coulda been handled better where he does the PSU plan of wrestling as few matches as possible and try to make postseason healthy.

Your point makes some sense but I think Penn st has the luxury of being able to rest pepple and still win. Rutgers couldnt win that dual but they still could hypothetically make in exciting and competitive. That didnt happen but it has happened in the past. Guys pushed penn st wrestlers even in losses and the fans appreciated that. Obviously a injury situation is a little different than just taking a night off but imagine paying to attend and seeing guys sit out. That's a sport problem. As fans we want exciting duals but guys need a break from the grind too. it seems like no call is right sometimes.

Considering how things ended thought he woulda wanted to be done with wrestling all-together.

A little surprised but yeah… wish Poz the best.
I think he just lost confidence in himself when he realized how big of a gap there was between him at 4 in the nation and Brooks at 1 in the nation. Probably still loves the sport but felt his peak had passed him.
