I have nothing but gratitude and respect for Poz. 5 concussions is no joke. That can have serious long term consequences.
5 concussions, he should have retired sooner.Poz has no regrets. 5 concussions in college is not good. Hope he's healthy.
He made the right choice I would have advised him to leave after 35 concussions, he should have retired sooner.
If he was that banged up why was he even sent out to wrestle, Barr/Cotton/ etc, in meaningless matches when the dual was already at hand?He made the right choice I would have advised him to leave after 3
They’re a very good D3 program that has a AA’s fairly often. Hunter Mays took 5th last year.Poz joined TCNJ staff. Their staff is huge. They have 9 coaches: https://tcnjathletics.com/sports/wrestling/roster#sidearm-roster-coaches
I am hoping there is a position for Poz at RU one day
I think he just lost confidence in himself when he realized how big of a gap there was between him at 4 in the nation and Brooks at 1 in the nation. Probably still loves the sport but felt his peak had passed him.Considering how things ended thought he woulda wanted to be done with wrestling all-together.
A little surprised but yeah… wish Poz the best.
