Better days ahead for Rutgers … couldn’t get it done today but we are a much better team. Gavin improving rapidly and if the run isn’t called back the running stats look better and who knows . Michigan is an excellent team though not sure who is number 2 in nation . They could be 2-3-etc. but there are overall some great teams who can challenge .

Need more talent on the offensive side of the ball, and it’s coming in our ‘24 class. Duff, Crumpler, and Black are going to boost our WR Corp.

Rutgers just loses by 24…

RutgersAl: ‘Every remaining team looks beatable to me!’

There he is! There’s our guy! There’s the unrivaled enthusiasm!

Honestly you’re so much better when you aren’t focused on saving Greg’s job

For some reason, video stopped early for me so havent watched the whole thing but look forward to.
For those that don't recognize Al's partner - Aaron is not only one of the football teams biggest fan supporter but almost every Olympic sport as well. You will find him even traveling for womens volleyball and such.

As for your hot take- watching all of the games this week- MSt looks very beatable, Indiana and Iowa as well. An we did not look horrible. Mich's OL is one of the best in the country and we held our own on D pretty damn well. No matter how you look at it- forget the refs and everything else, their offense scored 24.
We also showed we can move the ball- just not consistent against the number 2 in the county. Their home crowd was also a huge factor. Along with the phantom hold- those false starts were all caused by the 12th man.
Mich was just too much but we were far from embarrassed and they came away knowing it was a game.

This is why Al should be considered one of the best and few true die hards of this program. This is the norm for him traveling to away games donations to the program and just loving all things Rutgers. He doesn’t just post because he has nothing else to do. With Al you get real and live recaps from someone who was at the game not BS recaps from watching on the tube or worse from listening to the radio broadcast. AL is Rutgers through and through no shortcuts taken.

Knowing the way recruiting has and is currently working then yes …it’s always a possibility. Do all we can to keep him a Rutger’s guy. KJ Duff and Ian Strong and the others in the WR group elevate the position . With Gavin steadily improving potentially our offense can start to be what it must become starting next season.

I believe that Washington could be a sleeper top 4 team.

Al's take is fair, bi difference this year is for the first time since Schiano is back we look like a big ten football team, probably middle of the pack. Crystal Ball says we are 4-3 (we lose to PSU and Ohio State) but really should be competitive with the rest of the schedule, with a fair shot at bowl eligibility.

Just awesome, Big Phil. Fans are very cordial and kind. Game atmosphere is second to none. Band is fantastic. Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan are all fantastic visits.

Al - taking into account not only the in-stadium experience but the overall experience, this is how I would rate them.

1. Nebraska
2. Iowa
3. Wisconsin
4. Ohio State
5. Penn State
6. Michigan
7. Maryland
8. Northwestern

Never been to:
- Michigan State
- Minnesota
- Illinois
- Purdue
- Indiana

No compelling desire to go to these locations I've missed. Does anyone feel like they are a must do? I'll do the four new teams from the Pacific sometime over the next decade assuming I'm still here. UCLA in 2025 is a definite. It's not how I dreamed of seeing RU in the Rose Bowl, but I'll take it.

4. Michigan
5. Minnesota
6. Michigan State
7. Illinois
8. Maryland
9. Northwestern

If I included Rutgers it would be toward the top. Think our gameday experience is totally underrated.

Good list Lou. I would have Ohio State and Michigan tied for #1 and Penn State #2, in terms of gameday atmosphere and fun.
