1st AB- popout 1 LOB; <span style="font-weight: bold;">ended inning</span>
2nd AB popout to catcher on sac bunt attempt with <span style="font-weight: bold;">runners on 1st and 2nd</span> 0 outs
3rd AB popout with <span style="font-weight: bold;">runners on 1st and 2nd</span>; <span style="font-weight: bold;">ended inning</span>

He is absolutely terrible and does nothing but harm our chances of scoring every time he comes to the plate. Whenever our offense shows signs of breaking out a big inning or putting a couple runs up Collins is there to stab us in the back. There is no reason for him to ever see the batter's box especially in a CLEANUP spot. I have been beating this horse all season long but there is always more and more examples to prove his failure as a player to justify it. Cohen please stop the stubbornness of playing this JUCO batboy.

just let Norris go at 1st and get him some experience. Hell his game might not be much better than Collins right now, but it can't be worse.

this would be the second game in four that he has literally single handedly cost us a win- I'm refering to the game vs Alabama where he 17 up the pop up.

Yeah- I would say it's time to just let Norris play first for the rest of the year. Heck, Cody Freeman wouldn't be any worse.

that his avg with RISP is below .100 and im not kidding. I have won so many bets in the outfield on him. Nobody on- he usually hits. Man on 1st- double play- i swear he has to lead the NCAA in double plays. With RISP- nothing, EVER. He is the most unclutch, least timely hitter I have ever seen and thats why he has to go. BAd things follow him and they can follow him right to the end of the bench.

but he is killing us in the field. We can keep his bat in the lineup and find another spot for him if he can't handle playing first base.

I was curious to see his RISP avg (because Ive bitched about that all season) so I spent about 30 mins looking it all up. Turns out I have been right about his anemic timely hitting. On the season Ryan Collins stats are as follows:
Hitting with nobody on base 16-56 .285
Hitting with at least one runner on 20-78 .256
Finally, hitting with runners in scoring position <span style="font-weight: bold;">10-52 .192</span>

He simply cannot show up when we need him most, not to mention his recent defensive blunders like todays error that could've cost us the game or diving for a ball that landed on home plate costing us the Alabama game. We have to start Norris at first from now on to get him more experience and because he is simply better.
Collins = bench

That's as bad as everyone thought.

I agree with you 100% on starting Norris at first base.
