Noticed that as well. He talked the guy into the illegal formation penalty as well.He was distracting the line judge all day including the misses ales start
Because he knows if we had any semblance of a passing game, or an OC that knew how to put his players in a position to succeed, his team would have lost today. He sounds almost like he lost.
Maybe but certainly he must think it was not a great day for his team and he's under a lot of pressure to win a NC. Even after winning OSU fans will probably rip him apart. Rutgers? You struggled against Rutgers??Because he knows if we had any semblance of a passing game, or an OC that knew how to put his players in a position to succeed, his team would have lost today.
After our last TD, the father of an OSU player walked from his seat into the aisle and screamed "This is an effing discrace!!!". [I cleaned it up.] Talk about elitism.Even after winning OSU fans will probably rip him apart. Rutgers? You struggled against Rutgers??
I'm glad we were able to welcome him to Piscataway. For our fans eager for respect, it takes a while to gain. One tough game and Ohio State fans will write off by saying "the coach sucks, the team wasn't paying attention." Do it again and eventually they'll say "well, Rutgers is always tough at home," like they probably say with a team like Iowa. Even Ryan Day seemed reluctant to say "those guys really gave it to us today." It was more like "we screwed up."After our last TD, the father of an OSU player walked from his seat into the aisle and screamed "This is an effing discrace!!!". Definitely B1G Refs cheating or having a motivational interest in OSU winning.line judge on Rutgers side was awful.. or a cheater.
saw many mistakes taking 1 yard from us. saw one where he granted Ohio State 1.5 yards more than they earned... otherwise he was pretty good at giving OSU every inch and then some.. but often subtracting a yard or a bit less from us.
The 1.5 yard add was interesting.. he got away with it.. placing the ball at the 50 but it was not enough to entice OSU to go for it on 4th. He could easily have had an interest in OSU covering the spread given what he did there. He couldn't get away with giving them 3-4 extra yards and a first down to keep their drive going.. but he did seem to try to get them close enough to consider going for it on 4th.
The win was pretty much guaranteed when he gave them 1.5 yards on the spot. The point spread was not. I don't think the refs gave the game itself to OSU. It is just a bit maddening that they always give OSU and Michigan and PSU most every angle on most every call... not every official.. just enough of them.. when they don't need that advantage.Definitely B1G Refs cheating or having a motivational interest in OSU winning.
not elitism lolAfter our last TD, the father of an OSU player walked from his seat into the aisle and screamed "This is an effing discrace!!!". [I cleaned it up.] Talk about elitism.

Not really. Go read a few of the OSU boards and many of their fans are giving credit to Schiano and an improved Rutgers team. Keep in mind, Schiano was an assistant under Urban at OSU and is still liked there.I'm glad we were able to welcome him to Piscataway. For our fans eager for respect, it takes a while to gain.
