True. It's Golf and not football. Root for your team instead of harassing Rory. It's just a few rotten Apples, no pun intended.

Americans just can't make puts so far. Not over yet.

They had to bring the State Police in to provide more security on the Rory/Lowery match. Ryder Cup is a different animal that doe get the fans involved but you need to respect the game a players. Marshaled the US Open in 2018 at Shinnecock. Too many get tanked on the LIRR ride out and they act like asses.

The way things are going now, tomorrow is going to be a ratings nightmare. And Euros have more depth for the individual matches tomorrow.

US stinks every year. do people really care about ryder cup?

btw golf needs to stop being so soft and elitist. only sport where fans don't have an impact. although sports are starting to attempt to eliminate fans.

They don’t play the Ryder Cup every year. And it is a big deal. smh

I’m gonna go out on a limb here and suggest you’re not their target audience.

I give the American team credit for almost staging a Great comeback. Having said that, it was a huge disappointment in so many ways. The putting by top tier American players was terrible. The Europeans play with excellent demeanors. Also, building multi tier grandstands lends itself to poor fan behavior. Obviously, most people can control themselves, but that small group of drunk idiots galvanized the team from Europe. They embarrassed America and the NY area.

Americans at least gave you a reason to tune in for a while yesterday. Fitting though that Shane Lowry hit the clinching putt.

They should seriously consider, never holding a Ryder Cup in New York again. The pathetic chants and throwing drinks at players‘s wives?

Euro’s had the better team.

I suspect it's a guarantee we won't see a Ryder Cup in the metro area for a very, very long time.

There are too many great golf courses to play in the United States where the fans will at least be reasonably civil.

Rory said it well. In essence he said, I expect to be booed some but root for your own team rather than just insult the opponents.

Agreed, and you cant be yelling obscenities at players when they are addressing the ball.
