I tend to agree, but if Congress sets things up in a reasonable manner...and Florida says we will handle all of that stuff you don't like,I don’t think Saban is made for the current world of college sports. His M.O. was stacking and developing talent. That doesn’t happen any more with perpetual free agency.
He’s not made for the current world of doing anything except what he’s already doing, which is talking about football and counting his money. He’s freaking 73 years old, and will be a minimum of nearly 75 years old before he coaches another truly meaningful game even if he did come back, because he’s gonna be 74 in October and he won’t be coaching anywhere this season.I don’t think Saban is made for the current world of college sports. His M.O. was stacking and developing talent. That doesn’t happen any more with perpetual free agency.
If he finds a side piece, he may have to get back in coaching. It would be a mistake for both parties. Just play golf. Find a side piece. Something
Does he like Coldplay? If he finds a side piece, he may have to get back in coaching.
Rumor on some outlets Saban replacing Napier.
Exactly.these stories are just low hanging clickbait for the doldrums of summer. Don't be C34 and fall for such idiocy.
So he’s either in or out? Way to go out on a limb. They're preseason no 6 in SEC. If Billy can't beat that, they'd be crazy not to. I don't really see Saban being available that late. Either he really wants back in, or he'll stay retired imo.
lol. That would turn the state of AL upside down.He was golfing today with Cohen.
Poorly worded on my part. It was about the timing. So he’s either in or out? Way to go out on a limb.
Sounds like you are saying Mississippi State would be a great retirement job for him.Let's say he does come back. Cool. Some say the new college football has passed him by, how would he do it?
School doesn't matter. He'd hire stud coordinators because obviously who wouldn't want to work under him and have that on their resume? They'd then recruit studs. Saban would dominate because that's what he does. Whoever hires him wound have NIL backing or he wouldn't agree with it to begin with, so he'd just continue to dominate.
However; if he's to come back I don't see it happening at Florida. Why would anyone want to coach there? 20 years ago, sure. Now? Nawwww. He'd go somewhere with less explanations where he could half-*** it and still exceed expectations
