Ya know what really grind my gears? I got TSA pre-check so I could leave my shoes on, leave electronics in the bag, and skip the line. Then seemingly everyone had pre-check so I got Clear with pre-check. My wife has neither (peasant) and the last two times we flew she was beat me through security.

Lots of times the Pre Check line at Memphis International will be longer than the standard security line.

I’ve flown out of quite a few airports over the years but the worst TSA is Orlando. We got to the airport almost 4 hours before our flight and nearly didn’t make it. Stood in line with TSA for over 3 hours. It’s been that way on three different occasions.

Yikes. I'd miss every flight. Sounds like another in the long list of reasons for me not to be in Orlando.

My low-level conspiracy theory is they make the regular line awful sometimes so that more people pay for pre-check.
