Hello to everone in this thread...

You can all go **** yourselves. Frost made an error in the first and then made plays the rest of the day. In case you haven't noticed, we don't have a third baseman on the roster who is just lights out over there.

We just won the first game of the CWS. Seriously though, after you **** a brick, go **** yourself.

I agree that he bounced back which was good..but that was a terrible E. Water under the bridge now, and he will continue starting against RHP's, so I agree that it's pointless to *****.

And finally....Good to see you back on the board, Mrs. Frost*

Other than the bad throw on the first throw, I thought he played pretty well. He got a good base hit in our 3 run second inning.

Frost looked strong when he hit their catcher at the plate.

Haha no doubt.

Frost is the type of player that will do just enough every game to warrant staying in the lineup, and just enough to make every fan anxious for him to graduate. He only has at most 5 more games in a MsU jersey, so Im going to just root him on and hope for the best, because I know John's going to have him in there.

Why don't we just DH Frost against righties? His bat has been solid (see the key RBI single today) and he's a plus baserunner. Only time he scares the **** out of me is when he's about to throw a baseball. If he and Detz had been switched position wise today I would have been perfectly OK with the lineup.

Frost is actually far superior with the glove to Detz....it's his little roodypoo arm that is the problem. He got to some balls in the hole today that Detz wouldn't have even attempted at. Frost more than made up for his E today....but I would have still hated him if we had lost by a run after he gave them 1 like he did

What he said. Frost is by far a better defensive 3rd baseman. His range is what separates him. He has swung a good bat this year too. Yes he makes an error a ballgame but typically makes up for it with a web gem or RBI clutch hit. He really doesn't get enough credit IMO.

One other thing is I would like to remind everyone of the 9th inning of game 2 at VA. Yep....

But carry on Internet badasses.

Cadaver, let me get this.

I've been saying this all season. We have like 4 guys on the field each inning on the season who for any other team would be playing 2nd base.

Detz shouldn't be playing 3rd and probably wouldn't for any other team... likely hasn't since high school or earlier... but Detz is THE BEST 3rd baseman we have at MSU. He has the arm and he doesn't make mistakes (that BS tip of the glove high-dive in the SR is an exception). Detz needs to play 3rd every game for us unless he absolutely can't. Frost came to MSU when he was 18 weighing 110 lbs. How many D1 athletes in any of the 3 major sports reported at 110 lbs? He's talented, but so is my best friend in high school offered a walk-on spot for Ole Miss in 2006 who was all-state at OT who was 6'3" and 275 lbs.............. 97% of the time it doesn't come down to talent or "dude, that guy is good"... F that.

We're almost a 50 win team. Any 3rd baseman should be EXPECTED to make plays every time. Stupid *** errors should be shunned especially when you have at-bats like that.

Frost seems like a good dude and one of those guys worthy of taking a risk on....... but 12 errors in limited play is 17'ing terrible and he should be a C-USA competitor type 3rd baseman.

Sorry Mrs. Frost.

Why only pick on Frost? Pirtle made an awful throw from 2nd as well......

That was just as bad a play if not worse Henderson diving for the ball hurt us. Yet frost makes what 5 or 6 good plays in the field after the E and also gets an RBI with his bat. He played a very solid game all but that one throw. Do I **** a brick when he's about to throw it to first. Most times yes. But Frost helped us win the game yesterday. Without him in there, we may be in the losers bracket right now.

Bingo. Everyone LOVES to hate on Frost, but he made some key cutoffs on ground balls in the field yesterday that I doubt Detz could get to... and if Frost didn't get to, they would have easily been hits. Does he have a strong arm? No... but damn... he's not the only human being on this team to ever make a mistake. Frost made some spectacular plays in the field yesterday. Also, like you said, Both Pirtle and Frazier have made errors the last 5-6 games that have cost us runs, too... why not pick on them?

Frost is also much more confident at the plate than Armstrong or Porter currently are.
