Got his 5th star a few months ago, shortly before he became a McD’s AA.

He’s really talented, excellent pull up jumper, good handles, length, etc. kid will be special. Reminds me of Jayson Tatum, def will be a good substitute for Nwora leaving.

Looking forward to seeing Williamson, Igiehon, and the others next season. Williamson looks like a good get for the team.

Has he always been a 5 star or was that a recent update to his ranking?
Anybody have a chance to see him play a game in HS somehow?
I recorded the McDonalds game specifically to watch him play. Even though that game is not a great indicator of future success he looked really smooth. Hit a pull up jumper and made some baskets in traffic in the paint. Showed a pretty solid handle too. He scored 11 in the game and looked like he belonged. He’s not Tatum but that’s not a bad comparison. I think he is a major contributor next year.

Pure jump shot (on par with Nwora) and pretty smooth with the ball handling (better than Nwora) however he won’t get the rebounding numbers. He’ll likely be a better defender though. Overall we shouldn’t skip a beat with him at the 3 if we play with both Igeihon and Williams or Enoch if he comes back to offset the lack of size. I could see him playing 2 or 3 at a high level. Not a 4 by any means.

Only knocks are that he needs to bulk up, which he’s addressed, and he consistently takes what coaches call “the worst shot in basketball” (just inside the 3pt line). However he hits them so whatever haha.

He is strictly a 3 or will he see action at the 2 and 4 ?

Mostly 3, but could slide into 2. With some of our other size, I can't see him playing the 4, but if he adds 15 or so pounds, might be able to get away with it. Not sure we have a prototypical 4 next season if Nwora leaves. Unless CCM goes really big, then hell you could see 6'5, 6'5, 6'7, 6'10, 6'10 or 11, but could lose some defensive mobility. Good thing is we "should" have options.

Better passer and dribbler than Nwora. In all better athlete and one on one player. With that said just not the shooter Nwora is.
