Well I'm not a bit surprised that he has declared for the draft. Too bad because we have a chance to be just as good if not better next year. It will be interesting to see where he gets drafted
Many of these guys just think they are much better than what they actually are. In my opinion, he should have waited, consulted coaches, and received a grade of where he would most likely be drafted. Maybe this was based partly on emotionsI disagree, I thought he would come back. Oh well, gotta have the next guy in line philosophy. If we don't get things fixed in the trenches its not gonna matter
Backatcha, ia & Company! I FEEL the Love! No way 'Youse Guys' can realize how much I enjoy being a part of this Special Family! I didn't 'Come Out' for several years...Afraid I'd cramp the style of those who might be intimidated by having a Filly in the barn. After being married to, and then raising Athletes, there is very little that is said, or done, that is shocking. I miss those days, in a big way, and I Thank ALL of You for welcoming me, and allowing me to be a part of this Super Team! It's put the FUN back into Dysfunctional, as the later years sometimes become...Happy New Year Mom ! (I know you're not mine but could be) We all love you and wish you a Great new year !

I've always agreed with this. Well, as long as the player is going to make good money with the decision to leave early. I hear all the time from people that criticize when a bigtime player leaves early and how that education is more important than money. While I do agree with that thinking, it also ignores the millions some of these kids will make by coming out early. MILLIONS!!! Like you said 22, they can always go back and get their education later, and will have enough money in the bank to pay for it themselves and still be WAY ahead.B. Make big $$$ while you're still young and able. No homework. No blow hard assistant professors. Work hard. Play hard. Get rewarded. Live in fine housing. Then when your day is done, go back and get that degree if you so desire.
Well I'm sure most of us on here went to college and studied hard every night and listened to professors. I personally wish I could go back and do it all over again because it is some of the best times of your life. There is no guarantee Zack will make big bucks or even make a team. He may be harshly introduced to big time professional sports and wish he was at OU again. Its his life though so he certainly has the right to take that chance. All I'm saying is that he may regret it.I've said this before concerning players declaring early. Put yourself in their shoes.
A. Stay another year in college, study hard every night, listen to assistant professors lecture (since professors rarely show up), work hard, play hard for not much more than a scholarship and some meals. Live in a small room with another guy.

Hmmmm. Now let me think.
Good luck Zack. Thank you for being a great Sooner.

Really? I lived on campus for 4 yrs. Of course it wasn't all good but the majority of it was great. I'm guessing that Sanchez had a pretty good time and will really miss it one day.I still have nightmares about college. That final exam and not being at all prepared. Not being able to find the building or a classroom where I am supposed to be. Not knowing my class schedule. Not me BW, I never wanted to go back. The learning never stops, and continuing education is something all together different. I enjoy that.
