Sandman, how do you think we will finish in recruiting?

Will Simmons, Knott, Kobe and AJ end up with us elsewhere? I need to know what a longtime diehard Dog like you thinks about this.

Back in about November I started a thread on my guesses on recruiting and picked all four of those guys to State. Now it sounds like to me that AJ will go to Bama and Simmons to OM. I think we'll sign Knott and Kobe and also Lashley. IMO Lashley has just as much NFL potential as Simmons and Kobe just needs to grow some more to be an elite lineman and he has the frame to do that.
Recruiting hasn't gone as well as I thought and hoped it would, but maybe we can pull a surprise or two like we did last year with Leo Lewis. Maybe Simmons will be this year's Leo!
The good news: Last year's class was ranked higher than OM's and we redshirted almost the entire class. So we'll have plenty of top quality freshmen on the squad this fall.
And hey.... we won nine games this year, so the sky is not falling. Two years in a row of winning nine plus. I've seen a lot worse in my years. I believe in Dan and this staff, especially with T-Buck joining us. The future is bright!

When you say "we'll sign Knott, Kobe, and Lashley," do you mean Ole Miss or state?

To be fair, twitter can be complicated. It's not as easy as joining hookup sites.

Really? Some old people use it to follow coaches from their favorite schools, parody accounts from their rivals, and strippers. Lots of strippers. You could even follow a university's brand new chancellor to see what his vision for the school might be. Just a suggestion for you.

Exactly. My favorite follows are Dan Mullen, Faux Hugh Freeze, OG Larry Bird, and Not Charles Barkley. Oh, and Nikki Bender. She's hot.

I say out him like they have been doing at ED. Seeing the characters that pretend to be State fans has been a big laugh. Talk about losers. Just wow.

There's State fans that pretend to be Ole Miss fans too. It goes both ways and it's pretty sad.

What's wrong with an avid State fan following Fletcher Adams? **

Sandy ol' boy - why did you delete your twitter so abruptly? It seems you had long ago gotten all those password issues straightened out and were eagerly following accounts of interest to you. Such a shame.

Any time you are ready to end this charade is fine. In fact, you are on the clock. You have through the weekend to fess up, or you will be gone.

Damnit. This thread & ABC are the only things that tempt me to sign up for twitter to watch the hilarity unfold.

The suspense is mounting as this real life drama plays out*

I don't pay that much attention but he has always struck me as questionable.

Ball is in Sandman's court now. He can spill the beans, or we'll do it, after he's banned of course and can't see what we're saying about him.

I just wonder if he thinks his trolling here is as significant as those Vaught Society contributions.

Yep we've been playing you for sometime now Sandman. Was it me following you on Twitter that you finally realized it? Surely you're not that dense.

I'm more of a Dog than you will ever be !!!!!! !!!!

I've never seen Ole Miss ever do any self promotion about the Grove. The rest of the nation does it for them: Sports Illustrated: "The Holy Grail of Tailgating" NY Times: "The Mecca of All Tailgating" Sporting News: "Like the Kentucky Derby on Steroids"
Fans of virtually every school except us routinely say it's a "Bucket List" experience. Everyone in Texas is still buzzing about their time in the Grove last year in Oxford. They don't have to do any self promotion…. Everybody else does it for them!
Doesn't bother me…. we've got something to be proud of too with the Junction. But let's face it… it ain't the Grove!

You'll have to wait for Monday for Sandy's story, or perhaps ours.
That's not fair D@A, it's going to be gorgeous in Destin this weekend. He's got a lot of Snowbird *** to trawl. Give him until Wednesday, whatever day that is.
