Honest to God, I don't think I've been more excited for a match up than Auburn. Forget Kansas, UofL, etc..

I think Cal is going unleash this team on Bruce Pearl and I'm going to bet right now that Cal doesn't call off the beating until he absolutely has to. 30+ point victory and it's going to make headlines.. either because of Sarr, something Pearl does, post game handshake, something! But that's my bet. That game will be buzz worthy and they will talk about it on ESPN for a few days.

Glad we can move on to something else to worry about like Brooks injury.
I think there is some confusion with these rankings to start the season.
In my opinion, pre season rankings are thoughts on where these guys believe everyone will be when the final horn sounds in April.
A lot of people hate being ranked #1 to start the year, but that ranking tells me the voters think we have the best combination of talent, coaching and depth to win it all.
I always want to be ranked #1. The other benefit is, if you lose a couple games, you could still be in the top 10. Lose a couple games when you're ranked 13th-ish and you could fall out of the rankings. That’s a long climb back up.
So, I've seen where bracket busters had UK's backcourt ranked #1, but they ranked our front court at 15th WITH Sarr. Which is odd. I think UK has a lot of length and depth in the front court, so in my opinion, they’re much better than 15th. Getting Toppin cleared should help too.
I don’t know if UK will he pre season #1, but you know they will have duke and unc*** top 5 and UK has better talent, so we might as well be there too.

now makes me wonder if part of the reason the Toppin waiver was for the Brooks injury. Sarr and Toppin would be a nice combo too
