Or does it even matter? Or maybe your major was physics? Did you study dark matter?

Ok, gotta run to dinner. Matter'D is waiting on me at the local restaurant.

If we're going by message board mythology here, then we were 1) an inch away from hiring perhaps the nation's top up and coming coach, Chris Petersen and 2) chose Wilson over Gary Patterson, another of the nation's top up and comers.

Boise State and TCU both have better football programs than USM will ever have. And we almost/coulda taken their coaches. If you're going by message board mythology. You *****.
Touchy are we? First of all, Petersen was a courtesy for a friend. Secondly, Patterson would be a better hire than Wilson. But that's ok, it won't matter anyway. MSU will still be at or near the bottom of the SEC west.

You said we don't contribute to the SEC. I say our number of championships in all sports say we do. I didn't realize we were talking about money. Did I miss where you have to pay dues to play in the SEC? They certainly don't seem to think we're bad for business, as they haven't kicked us out yet.

Coaching graveyard? We've had four head coaches since 1980. Not a lot of tombstones there.

Douchebag? Did you learn that big word at your alma matter?

Of those 4, which one went on to a better job? You know, NFL, big time school, etc. Answer: zero. All of them sucked. So like I said, coaching graveyard.

Bobby Collins went to SMU and promptly put his school on the death penalty.

Jim Carmody was never a head coach aGAIN.

Curley Hallman went to LSU and drove the program so far into the ground it took 8 years to rebuild. He was last seen resigning at Muscle Shoals High School after four straight losing seasons.

Jeff Bower will in all likelihood never coach again.

That's a tremendous track record there.

Collins? Oversaw SMU's march to the death penalty. CHECK!

Carmody? What the hell happened to him?

Hallman? Went on to LSU as a colossal flop, then wound up as a deadbeat alcoholic who needed a babysitter while in Starkville. CHECK!

Bower? Anything?

The same could be said for the coaching graveyards of Auburn or Alabama, unless you consider Kentucky, UTEP, or Texas A&M bigtime jumps.

Now that I think about it, I think you can add UGA to the list of coaching graveyards. Man, they're everywhere!

First of all, Hallman's problem was that he couldn't keep his dick in his pants at LSU.

Secondly, did you idiots not see that I DID NOT GO TO USM? I went to an SEC school, was a scholarship football player, and graduated. My only ties to USM are through friends. I'm here simply because it's funny as **** to see MSU hire USM's reject.

That wasn't proud as hell to say where they got that little slip of paper from. Especially if they were a student athlete with a free ride. You should practice your lies more... Much like our offense this year, they are weak and ineffective.

Real money's in football douchebag. Get a football team and we'll talk. And no, Wilson won't get you a football team. Nobody will. MSU is a coaching graveyard. Always has, always will be. MSU has only won 48% of its games and it's "best" coach in the last 50 years only won 50% of his games.

Hey Dick Spit,

Coach Hat needs you back at the gym to polish some balls, if you catch my drift.

you are the idiot who brought USM into this.

What better jobs did Mike Price, Mike Shula, Mike Dubose, and Gene Stallings take. Only Franchione left to do better, and he got run off at A&M.

Dye and Terry Bowden? Tuberville's not getting the door beaten down either.

Galen Hall and Ron Zook do better? Spurrier gives them two out of three.

Ray Goff and Jim Donnan improve their lot?

Hal Mumme, Bill Curry, Guy Morriss? What are they up to?

Mike Archer, Hallman, Dinardo? How's life treating them?

Brewer, Cutcliffe, Orgeron? They get a plus with Tubs, 3 out of 4 screwed up.

Jack Crowe, Danny Ford?

Holtz went out on his terms, but Brad Scott, Sparky Woods? They in the NFL yet?

Johnny Majors do anything after Tennessee? Do you see Fulmer as a head coach in D-1 aGAIN?

Heck, Vandy saw Dinardo take a step up, I guess they're a coaching paradise for getting him in. Of course, he bombed terribly at LSU, so say what you will.

Which of these great coaching meccas do you claim?

But the only time I've ever seen the term "SEC Welfare" thrown around with regards to State and OM, it was by buzzard fans who hate their pathetic lives in CUSA and hate the fact that they were a farking teacher's college when the SEC was formed.

Yes, I hope it is Wilson. Miss. State has won the lottery thanks to Mr. Leo Seals with more to come. Do we now upgrade from the 12 x 72 to the Double Wide or spend the money and get the foundation house? I have really been scared we would go for the Double Wide and move back to Tornado Ally. It would be good for about two tornado seasons and blown away to hell again. Go G. Byrne.

Hey Dick Spit.

We don't actually give out scholarships for pleasuring your sister. Normally the 8 of us that take turns just high five each other.
But if you think it's worthy of a scholarship pony up the bucks and we can take care of it.

One thing you forgot to mention, most of those coaches had something that no coach at MSU has had..... success. And no, Jackie Sherrill and his .500 record doesn't count as success.

The most likely scenario is that he is a USM alum and one of the 10% of USM students that give two runny ***** about USM athletics. Otherwise, nobody would start a conversation by mentioning USM.

they were all fired from the jobs. That's the kind of success we all want, right. I mean Mike Price retired from Alabama undefeated!
