There’s ones on Twitter sayin he is doing good because he doesn’t have constant media pressure on him now
There's always going to be bad narratives.

The fact is that Cal used UK as an NBA audition for his players the last few years, and he did it with guys who weren't that good.

There's no way he'd bring Fland off the bench in this game if Fland had been at UK in any of Cal's seasons here, not even in a similar scenario.

Cal was catering to the likes of Bradshaw, Edwards, Livingston, and BJ Boston.

All 3 schools impacted by cal leaving are better off.
-BYU realized they have a **** ton of money and they should use it for sports l
- Kentucky got a coach who understands the culture and is innovative and wants to be here
- Arkansas got a reenergized cal

Well, Rick can’t get them. Like it or not recruiting is part of the job.
pitino is still a better coach. that’s the point. can split hairs over the hypothetical, but i think the point gets across. it’s a commonly used one.

St John's couldn't hit a shot, hard to put that off on Pitino. Although I wouldn't have sit Lewis in the final minutes, even though he was like 3/17

Honestly BYU probably got the best of this deal. Their coach seems to be the real deal and the LDS church realized it can use some of their 300 billion dollars on college sports.

Who do we want to win? Tech or Drake? I’m of the opinion that I can see Cal losing to Drake more than Texas Tech. He can’t play the underdog card, and he struggles more in half court games.

No matter how good Cal is as underdog, I think you want Tech. Simply by law of averages, if he keeps running into good teams he’s more likely to lose.

Buzz needs to call off that press. It’s giving up Laois every time

Both these teams will have a hard time with Arkansas’s length. Hogs will win soundly and ride that momentum into the E8. Florida isn’t even a guarantee to be there

You gotta wonder even a little if CAL had stayed with the players he had back the new guys he added plus the Big from Arizona State what kind of season he would have had at KY. Similar to his run at Arkansas or better. Glad we have Pope and Cal is gone but you have to think Cal had one more run in him.

Nah, Jaden was too raw. The pressure this year and the way that team started man it would have been ugly. No way he would have gotten out of that hole here.

He’s a much better in game coach. But cal still owns him. I love Rick. But I love winning more.

Arkansas getting away with a lot in this game, especially near the basket. But St. John's is also struggling with the size of Arkansas.
St John is fouling like hell as well. It is close to football under the basket by both teams. Actually Arkansas had 24 fouls and St John had 20 called.

TAMU missing everything down the stretch and can't get a stop.

Taylor may need to pull some 3 pointers out of his rump to give TAMU hope of winning.
