SATURDAY games thread

[hotelblue]

i think every team i’ve preferred to win so far in this tournament is shooting about 25% on layups.

[permdaddy_rivals45705]

Cal loves kicking Rick's ***

[ukwazoo]

SJ is legit shooting 21%. That's insane

[LineSkiCat14]

I feel pretty confident now, that a lot of Cals problem during his final years at UK, was that he was just being too stubborn in the end. Too much fighting with media and fans. He needed a change.

I'm not saying he and Arkansas look great or anything.. but it sure looks better than anything he showed us in the last 5 years.

[wildcat2243]

Arky is to much for St. John’s, honestly. I hope St. John’s wins though

[Pulaski Cat Fan_rivals377587]

St Johns shooting is an abomination.

[ck-2]

St Johns should know Wagner is going to go left.

Both (cal and us) need a fresh start...

and down 9. if rick had a couple shooters it’d probably be a double digit lead for sju.

[ck-2]

The double dribble call is a thing of the past.

[ukwazoo]

RJ Luis playing like a doordasher

[anon1790746896]

Really, if Arkansas win this game, they are going to EE

Do not think ttu or drake will win over Arkansas

[Pulaski Cat Fan_rivals377587]

Cal has Rick's number.

[ImTheVillageIdiot]

Pitinos players look tight and Cal’s guys look loose. Weird world we are living in

[katwest]

Didn't we go to 4 final fours in 5 seasons with said freshmen at UK?

We had several veterans that had a pretty big part on those teams. Our Freshman the last 3 or 4 years he was here didn’t do much in the tournament. Knox, Richmond and Fland have looked pretty good in this tournament so far.

[BigBlue1992]

This game is far from over. St John’s may very well win but it feels like Cal looks at his schedule and circles the games that matter and decides to actually coach.

[NoahColeLiam2024!]

Is there any way to convince you to cheer for the Illini tomorrow?

[gbl97]

How can Pitino not zone after watching how it crippled Arkansas two days ago?

[TortElvisII]

Cal thrives on disrespect.

[katwest]

Is this satire? You think Davis, Wall, Fox, Randall didn’t play well in the tournament?

That group played pretty good, are you going to name the ones that didn’t?

[ukfan041]

Cal owns Pitino it seems

[ukwildcatwildfan]

St Johns looks like UK shooting layups right now

[Wildskatfan]

ha...Cal owning Rick at the moment

[BigBlue1992]

Cal thrives on disrespect.

You’re right!

[tls]

Can’t press Wagner

SJ just can’t get it going

4th/5th in SEC

[ImTheVillageIdiot]

Cal thrives on disrespect.

He acknowledges he is better as the underdog. Maybe that’s why he always brings against Pitino

[gbl97]

St. Johns getting torched on penetration. If they go zone, they win.

[TortElvisII]

That heavy ball conspiracy might be real.

[BGCATFAN2012]

That's why it's important to take good shots tomorrow. We hit some 3s last night but gotta get that lead built up first. Gonna be a brawl so...

[Wildskatfan]

St. Johns getting torched on penetration. If they go zone, they win.

Not if they can't make a layup they won't

[ck-2]

Lappas is as annoying as Dykes.

i feel like this may be the start of a long offseason. I don’t like this at all.

I don’t either. Maybe I was wrong to root for Kansas to lose after all

[TortElvisII]

Our goal is too advance and control what we can. We can't control this. Now Duke, might need a RJ thread.

sju can still make a run. if they can hit a free throw.

[gbl97]

Pure talent and athleticism making hard shots. I can't wait till we have some of these guys.

[UKcats1988]

SJU offense is an abomination and they’re allowing Ark to get to the rim at will.

[Padsfs07]

Arkansas is killing them right now. They’ll need a big lead given the typical late game play.

[Seth_C]

I seriously cannot cope with Calipari taking Arkansas to the Sweet 16.

[ukjenning44]

St. Johns getting torched on penetration. If they go zone, they win.

Pitino doesn’t like playing zone but he needs to if he wants to win this game.
