I’m very happy with Pope but I do think BYU got a heck of a coach. He was very well thought of at the NBA level. Really enjoy watching them play.
We should have played ulis with the twins down the stretch. But we could go back and forth over that game forever and it won't change a thing.
He does have the number 1 recruit coming next season too I believe.

Also Houston has the look of a championship team. Zags are playing well and Houston is just saying nah every time they try to get a run going

Theses refs in the BYU game are crooks. You guys were spot on earlier.
From what I have seen so far Florida, Houston and Duke are the best teams . Auburn has started slow.
Ulis is a top3 favorite player under Cal.. I think he was phenomenal.. but I'm just not sure giving him that assignment, as a freshman, would have been a good idea. It would have been an extremely risky move.
And people also mention playing Booker more. Well, Booker was in an atrocious shooting slump the last 10 or so games. So you really had to stick with what got you this far, which was the twins.
I also think losing Poythress as a defender was what really hurt us.
Oh, and it diesnt help that Wisconsin got bailed out on several officiating calls. If that **** clock violation is called, we probably have another title.

He didn’t swing that elbow , he was getting trapped and when he split the trap he hit the guy in the nuts .. totally by accident . No outward swing at all
The new coach brought in Demin I'm pretty sure.
If Pope had returned, they'd have Chandler on the roster as well as Robinson.
Robinson/Knell/Hall/Saunders is a strong nucleus. Getting a big, like the new coach did with Keita, in the portal would have made a pretty good squad for Pope this year at BYU.
BYU's new coach seems to be quite good. He already has the top freshman coming in next season along with a 7 footer ranked around 30th in the class.
They'll likely return 6 players from the current rotation, including Saunders. Demin is likely draft bound. Those 6 returning players along with the top recruit should make them a sexy pick as a potential contender going into next season, especially if they make a deep run.

Yep still want to see how Florida and Duke do tomorrow against actual teams. But those are the 3 legit teams me thinks
