But I would have Woody loose and ready in the first inning, and the first time Mitchell walks somebody on 4-5 pitches, he's out and Woody's in. If we're going to lose, by God it's not going to be because Evan Mitchell can't throw a damn strike.

This team has too much talent to be 17ing around and blowing a 4-1 lead. It's time to put our best players on the field and let them 17ing play. No more out coaching ourselves. And for the love of all that is holy, please don't throw another hittable pitch to Mason Katz.

I have no faith whatsoever in Evan Mitchell. He and Pollo should only be used in mop up duty. I fully expect Katz to be intentionally walked every at bat tomorrow

I agree. I would not ever start Mitchell again, but since he's already penciled in for tomorrow I couldn't really go with anyone else. If it were up to me, I would take my chances with Woodruff before I trotted Evan "walk me on 4 pitches" Mitchell, out there.

We need to get woodruff some confidence. Let him start Tuesday vs Alcorn. Let slaughter catch him and play our starters. Let him mow them down (which hopefully he will do) pull him after 5. Then start him the Sunday at UK. Then move him into the Sat vs ark.

I like Evan Mitchell more coming out of the pen. We need a power arm in the pen. Bracwell can't throw every game. And there will be times we need the K.

Rea looks like he cannot move so I dunno what he will be doing. If he plays we need him behind those guys getting them in because he will be a burden trying to move around the pasepaths.

I would be fine with Renfroe at cleanup and Detz in the 3 hole. I am far more concerned about getting certain bats out of the lineup (Frost, Pirtle, Hann, Ammirati), than what hole Renfroe and Detz bat in.

My only problem i have with renfroe behind detz is since Rea is out. If renfroe is in the 4 I pitch around him. Slaughter does not scare me. At least detz has the stats to make them question it. Just afraid the closer we get renfroe to the goof troop the more we take the bat out of his hands.
