competing better today, so far into the top of the 3rd.

noticed so far:
  • that vandy pitcher is ready for AAA
  • we dont practice fundamental things like how to field a bunt
  • vandy infielders are much better and make difficult plays look routine
  • beautiful weather

nice to see that the game is still close and it is also nice to see a very fundamentally sound team on the field making plays (minus the 1 mistake in their pick off run down)

Gartman meltdown forthcoming. Walks 9-hole leadoff man after questionable foul tip call. This is what always happens. Play well for a few innings, one tiny bad break and everything spirals.

ETA: And there it is. As certain as the rising sun.

We aren’t playing any different. The meltdown will come and we still getting run rules.

I don’t know about run ruled today, but unless Gartman keeps it where its at for 9 innings and throws 150+ pitches, its definitely looking like yet another L.

/How many home runs have we given up so far this year?

I will not put it back on my television for now because the last time I tried to watch, we were giving up home run after home run and walk and home run and walk...

That alone is cause for celebration. You do realize it ain't over yet tho. They can still hang another 6 runs on us this inning or the ninth

And with the last 2-run HR from Vandy, you can go ahead and put #16 in a row in the books.

both coaches use 2 buckets

Corbin stacks 2 and stands, using them as a stand up desk
Lemonis sits on 1 and uses 1 as a desk

what does it mean

Bradfield still hurt from that CWS loss, his whole body language shows he is still hurt and pissed off at State, acting like a @SS all day

I said last night that we needed a Harry Doyle to replace Ellis. Instead of just boring old game threads where we roll in our own feces, how about a "What would Harry Doyle say" thread?
