I know this may sound kinda ghey and I apologize beforehand if this topic is anywhere near Germany as although I have seen the Zombie posts I haven't seen anything about this.

I have encountered several MSU folks with small kids who are in situations where they would love to attend the game Saturday night as they usually do, but they are faced with kids that expect to trick or treat. They have said they wish there would be some sort of trick or treating in and around the Junction and they could dress up the kdis and still come to the game. Incorporating the Fanfare into it seems very logical.

There may already be some movement afoot, but can we get some sort of grassroot thing going and get out the word to tell folks to bring candy and let's make this a cool thing for the kids and have tailgate to tailgate trick or treating? Just a thought.

assuming that there may be some kids running about in their halloween costumes. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has already thought of that...

along the sidewalk of the amphitheater. It was the guys at Southern Tradition Tailgating who gave us the idea. So, yeah, I think it's a good idea, and we'll have candy there.

I don't, however, know how anyone will be able to tell which tents are participating. We don't have a porch light or anything on our tent.

MSU will drop its candy in the mud.

But go ahead and do it........"for the kids."

And then don't complain when we are eating PapaJohn's at Legion Field.

how to respond to this other than to ask are you going to actually grace us in Starkville at our tailgate Saturday or are you going to stay in Auburn and watch reruns of Cam Newton, the greatest football player in college football history, going 45 yards vs LSU?

For those wondering... D@A was trying to actually be funny here with his "candy in the mud" line. And by the way, Papa Johns won't deliver to that area of Birmingham around Legion Field due to crime rates.

if the fans aren't super, super serious (as in if a single student dresses like a zombie and doesn't ring his cowbell during every single UK snap) and in GAME MODE all day Saturday instead of getting all warm and fuzzy handing out candy, then don't be surprised when the team loses.

I could be wrong

and seriously, how hard can deciding on a universal sarcasm font be?
It would really help out around here this week.
