Saturday's game....

As you all know Saturday's game vs OSU will be a national broadcast, therefore it's important to get into the stadium before kickoff (which obviously means shutting down all tailgate's a tad bit earlier)

I will be in my seat on time as I always am. And while I wish everybody did the same, I'm not about to tell other people have to behave. Everybody should do what they want to do.

I get to my seat on time to welcome the team onto the field because I think the crowd can be a factor in the game by being there and being loud. And being there right from the start (along w/being loud) is the only thing that fans can do to help the team win games.

I'm a big believer in doing the easy, simple things that help to achieve success. Being in our seats on time is pretty easy and simple. Every little bit helps, right?

Also, I think it can help a little bit with recruiting. Recruits that come to the games and see a packed house going nuts when the team comes out onto the field are going to be at least a little bit more excited about coming to RU than they will be seeing only half the seats filled at that point.

Anyway, as I said, I'm not telling anybody else what to do. I just hope that maybe, when people see my reasons for doing it, it might convince a few more people to pack up a little earlier and get into the stadium to welcome the team onto the field too. If not, so be it. Posting this is all I can do and it's easy and simple.
