Should be, but that's not the rule.He had complete control of the ball with 2 feet down in the end zone. Play is dead.

It shouldn't matter. Yet it does. That’s exactly what I don’t understand. The moment you cross the goal line with possession of the ball it’s a touchdown and the play is dead. It doesn’t matter what happens after that.
He LSU'ed itHe didn't catch it.
He must've thought we could run up the middle on them.Shula play call is garbage
Wrong. By the crazy rule it was ruled incomplete, but he caught itHe didn't catch it.
They get it after halftime. Not pushing itDon't understand why VT would not try to get another play off before the 2:00 timeout.
Definitely not the rule, but one without rational justification. I agree with the announcer. Your eyes tell you it’s a touchdown.Should be, but that's not the rule.
By rule is all that defines a catch now.Wrong. By the crazy rule it was ruled incomplete, but he caught it
This is the thing. If a player catches the ball a split second before his tippy toe just comes down inside the end zone and then the ball pops out immediately, your eyes tell you that that’s not a catch. But when you have the ball in two hands and get multiple feet down inbounds before you go out of bounce in the ball pops loose, that’s a catch. Yes not by the rules we know but common sense. You don’t have to control it out of freaking bounds after controlling it for four steps in bound
They appear to have already settled down. I'm thinking they need to get more hyped up.According to Beamer our offense just needs to settle down. Can't wait to see the calmed down O line in the second half.
Complaining about refs is loser talk. The call was correct, the rule is stupid. What a crap crap crap crap crap half. With the icing of being cheated by the refs and that field goal .
