With as much good that has been done over the past year or so to improve the game day experience in the stadium, the folks in charge of the video board and sound system have yet to get there stuff together. The video board still hasn't lived up to its potential. Why haven't we figured out how to show stats after every play or every time the ball is turned over, punted, or there is a score? Would it not be ok to take a sliver of the board away from the commercials they run during stoppages and show some stats? It sucked yesterday guessing how many yards we thought we had. Also, both times scores from other games were flashed up on the bottom board, the same 4 games stayed up for 2-3 mins. Can the guys in the control room not have 16-20 scores ready to show and then flash 4 at a time for 20-30 seconds?<div>
</div><div>My other beef with the technology people is the sound system. In the student section, we could barely hear anything unless no one was ringing a cowbell and you still had to concentrate pretty hard to understand it. It seems that every game, the sound system is set at a different level. Have they not dialed it in yet after 1 and a half seasons of use? I know some folks in the upper deck have complained that it is too loud. Do the speakers need to be angled down a little bit to direct the sound better?</div><div>
