With as much good that has been done over the past year or so to improve the game day experience in the stadium, the folks in charge of the video board and sound system have yet to get there stuff together. The video board still hasn't lived up to its potential. Why haven't we figured out how to show stats after every play or every time the ball is turned over, punted, or there is a score? Would it not be ok to take a sliver of the board away from the commercials they run during stoppages and show some stats? It sucked yesterday guessing how many yards we thought we had. Also, both times scores from other games were flashed up on the bottom board, the same 4 games stayed up for 2-3 mins. Can the guys in the control room not have 16-20 scores ready to show and then flash 4 at a time for 20-30 seconds?<div>
</div><div>My other beef with the technology people is the sound system. In the student section, we could barely hear anything unless no one was ringing a cowbell and you still had to concentrate pretty hard to understand it. It seems that every game, the sound system is set at a different level. Have they not dialed it in yet after 1 and a half seasons of use? I know some folks in the upper deck have complained that it is too loud. Do the speakers need to be angled down a little bit to direct the sound better?</div><div>
</div><div>MSU staff, we know you read sixpack, so get these things fixed</div>

Our PA guy is the only guy I can understand over our sound system. Anything else - Coach Sherrill, The Most Interesting Student, Physics Of Football, etc is real boomy, muddy, and difficult to understand.

we have one of the best sound systems in the world and it is like they are scared to turn it up. I don't understand. I sit in section F and you could barely hear it where I was. Turn the thing up

announcer. Lastnight, I sat in 705 with a friend and you need earplugs up there. Its plenty loud. It just needs some tweaking to direct the sound.

we have to wear ear plugs. It's like the whole damn thing is pointed right at us. Some commercials blast you out of the stadium. To be quite honest if it wasn't for the improvement and excitement around the football team I might quit going to games because it is painful and annoying. I shouldn't have to wear ear plugs to attend an event, I'm not that old....

One other thing, why don't they use the little TV to show constant stats? I just don't understand using that TV to run a bad copy of the wide screen stuff going on. It looks like ***. I would MUCH rather have it showing scores from other games or hell, why not live stats as the game is going on like pro stadiums do? The entire night we all kept wondering aloud what the completion percentage was and how many first downs we had. Would it kill someone to show us on the mostly wasted TV space?
