Me too. Gonna be nice to look down upon all the peasants from now on.

Speaking of, they still have ALONG way to go until that'll be ready. They only have 3.5 months.

So much for all the naysayers saying Stricklands and the athletic department had botched the expansion and over estimated demand for premium seating. Now if the students will show up, should be a rowdy environment in the new expansion.

I don't know anyone who said that portion was "botched". I do know we once again underestimated the demand for skyboxes, and have about 75 spots left in the original Club Level to go along with more than 300 Gridiron Club passes. The latter is probably the biggest miss at this juncture.

Nailed it. They'll get the minimum done they have to get done to avoid a penalty or get a bonus, and they'll get it done probably no earlier than the day before the deadline. But they will meet the deadline.

I had to move into Griffis the night before move-in an they worked all night doing trim work, assembling and moving furniture, and painting literally until an hour or two before people started moving in.

They are working around the clock and since all the structural work is done, it will move a lot faster. It'll be done, but like others have said, it won't be in plenty of time.

I'm sure they will be done, but I see a couple months worth of work on assembling the new scoreboard alone. I didn't go inside the new structure, obviously, but I'm sure they have quite a bit left inside as well.

They're going to be close.

Yeah, I think they missed on the price point with the Gridiron Club. $750 per person plus you still have to buy your tickets and pay the BC obligation that goes with that. Unless you sit in the cheap seats, it's a better deal just to buy club level tickets. If you do sit in the cheap seats, you probably aren't interested or able to pay an extra $750 per person. I think $500 per pass would have drawn a much larger pool of potential purchasers.

Once the structure is complete, the scoreboard won't take long to complete. The screen itself went up and was operational in just over a week on the current one, but the finishing work took about 4-5 months. The finishing work on this one is nowhere near as extensive.

The first time I saw it I wondered to myself, why anybody would want to watch a game from there? Sitting pregame in the a/c and watching tv games I could possibly go for, but I would personally rather hang out w/ friends at our tailgate pregame and cook, watch Direct TV games, socialize, etc. No way I'm watching our games from ground level endzone, that's the worst view in the stadium, especially w/ band, troopers, cheerleaders, pom pom squad, Allstate extra point netting, tv cameras, etc constantly going in front of you. Now its perfect for my wife who wants the a/c, food, and doesn't give a rats *** about watching the game so I can see why some would enjoy it, just not for me.

The scoreboard club isnt really for viewing. There arent seats there. It is basically an indoor tail gate and when the game starts, you go to your normal seat in the stadium.

You mean gridiron club? Scoreboard club consists of the seats directly under the scoreboard.

I agree with your points, though... I have no interest in ponying up the money to have access down there

150+?

The last count someone gave (at my request) was 75 remaining in the East Side Club Level.
