Hearing he is going to be an assistant, how would you feel about him?

Has been at several schools so he should have some experience. But he still needs to be able to recruit. Also don't want repeat of hiring buddies. Coaches must be able to carry their weight to justify their position
Can't just fill his staff up with former players. Not a great look.

This is the time to have all star assistants here. We have a massive budget to hire them. Maybe 1 guy from BYU is fine, but those kind of guys aren’t going to cut it.
I would be for it. Has some HC experience, former Cat and Miss St. has done well with him on Jans' staff down there.

He's got 13 years experience of actually doing something, not sitting on his fat behind judging everyone .

He did a good job of having a diverse staff in Provo. I'm not concerned in this regard, and if he doesn't, he'll just not last long in Lexington. I just want the best staff possible. You don't get the resources at UK and waste them.

I’m not sure how Scott is doing as an assistant but Mark needs to get the best he can find. If he’s going to make it here he has to do a good job recruiting. Before anyone starts on me, no I don’t mean all McDonalds all Americans I mean finding talented kids that fit his style of play.
