Take this from a guy who is retired and worked his whole career for big and customer service related companies...
Please don't hire anyone in your organization in a management position who hasn't worked in the 'outside' world or is fresh out of college...I'm tired of dealing with the 'good ole boy' syndrome when dealing with your organization. I've dealt with some frustration from your group this week, unnecessarily.
Please make your organization into a group that doesn't make policy mistakes because of lack of experience...make it a place that successful individuals want come back to Mississippi to work for you and the university.
When the reseating is over and you're looking back, please remember this because all the decisions that had to be revisited due to lack of business experience.
