Good to see that Scout figured it out after 2 allstar games. They had him @ 2* for the first half of the season, clearly never evaluated him in person until all-star games, etc. Meanwhile, 24/7 sent (at least) 4 national guys to see him play games in person -- thus why they've been so far ahead of everyone else in ranking him. Just another reason that they are the best 'crootin site out there.

This is the problem with 247's composite recruiting rankings. Due to how bad Rivals' rankings are and how little they seem to care about getting it right, 247's composite rankings are actually more inaccurate than 247's own rankings. Rivals should not be considered until the give a rip about doing good work in MS. Until then, they should just average Scout and 247 rankings for the composite, since they are the only two that seem to care about getting it right. Is ESPN's rankings included in the Composite rankings? They are even worse

That is an amazing if not unprecedented rise. It doesn't reflect well on Scout whether valid or not - either they missed him in a huge, huge way and were wrong, or they are wrong now.
I personally have no idea.
One thing I don't like - banning people. Is this board really doing that? I seemed to remember eight years ago this was the refuge for people banned elsewhere. Gene banned people for saying Sherrill should be fired.
