Seen that Gaston Co Jamboree that was to be played at Bessemer City has been moved to Stuart Cramer due to field condition with same teams and time as well.

Porter Ridge defense forces 3 and out on Lake Norman on their first drive.
Porter Ridge starts at their own 32 and runs all over Lake Norman but gets stopped at the 22. Kicks a 37 yard field goal to go up 3-0.
QB for Porter Ridge is good. Big kid and quick.
Porter Ridge defense gets burned on 3rd down. Around a 60 yard TD pass completion to go up on Porter Ridge 7-3.
Lake Norman scores on long run by QB. Porter Ridge defense looking suspect after first drive. A lot of missed tackles.

Porter Ridge passing game is non existent. Neither QB has completed a pass. Lake Norman just forced another 3 and out.
Lake Norman intercepts Porter Ridge in the Red Zone and that ends the game.

Overall Porter Ridge does not look as good as the team I saw here last year. Running game was ok but passing game wasn't. Starting QB for Porter Ridge is big and athletic and can run but was very hesitant to pass. Decent size overall but not as big as last year. Honestly neither of these teams looked great and definitely need work. If Kannapolis has the talent I remember from the past they should beat Porter Ridge. Penetrate and contain the QB they can be stopped.
