A little nugget of information concerning Scruggs is that back when he had his bail hearing the judge refused to give him bail and also grounded his plane. The plane had just brought in Houston Nutt to be introduced as the new head coach at Ole Miss. Ole Miss had to hurry and find an alternative arrangement for Nutt to get back to Arkansas that weekend.
