I’m not sure. He really wasn’t of high enough quality to coach here***we pee on HOF coaches6-6 (maybe)
Finally you named someonePretty sure Audavion Collins and Curtis Nicholson would have helped. Trevion, Dinkins and Deontae Anderson are all talented players. Garbage coaching and not developing players doesn’t mean you don’t have any players. Look what Arnett and Friend did to Albert Reese and the rest of that O line that performed so well in 2022
I like the fact that they think this cannot quite possibly happen.I think we lose that one or NIU. That's why predicted 2-10.
I thought you were asking a question. Carry on with your Lebby apology. Finally you named someone
audavion Collins - arnett not lebby
Curtis Nicholson - can’t even find that guy on the internet
Trevion Williams - freshman; agree he has a chance to help but he was a freshman
Kalvin Dinkins - played in one game due to injury
Deontae Anderson - solid player
so out of everyone you named Lebby had one average to above average player who helped the defense last year
Lebby didn’t run Collins off
No idea who Curtis Nicholson is
Trevion Williams - freshman with limited playing time
Lebby didn’t injure Calvin Dinkins
Nick Saban would have looked sh1tty with the above.
maybe shouldn’t hire a guy who needs five star players to win at Miss StateFinally you named someone

I asked a question that pertains to the topic at hand. You know, our current head coach?I thought you were asking a question. Carry on with your Lebby apology.

Saban, and most coaches wouldn’t have signed a bunch of stiffs in the portal eitherI asked a question that pertains to the topic at hand. You know, our current head coach?
Again, Nick saban wouldn’t have done welll with our defense last year. Juco level talent.
Yeah they would have recruited decent talent before that.Saban, and most coaches wouldn’t have signed a bunch of stiffs in the portal either
I been to practice have you 85…I thought you were asking a question. Carry on with your Lebby apology.
maybe shouldn’t hire a guy who needs five star players to win at Miss State
im afraid five Star talent isn’t in the cards, being able to evaluate talent in the portal seems to be a job requirement, then being able to coach up and win with talent this school can afford.Yeah they would have recruited decent talent before that.
I’m thinking.. go with me here….you don’t know ****. Just saying. Missed you at practice and in the Sealim afraid five Star talent isn’t in the cards, being able to evaluate talent in the portal seems to be a job requirement, then being able to coach up and win with talent this school can afford.
Wish leach would have left us a smidgeon of talentim afraid five Star talent isn’t in the cards, being able to evaluate talent in the portal seems to be a job requirement, then being able to coach up and win with talent this school can afford.
And Saban damn sure wouldn’t have played 6 in the box while a RB went for 300 yards on him.Saban, and most coaches wouldn’t have signed a bunch of stiffs in the portal either
I don’t bet on football. I once lost a bet betting AGAINST a 90 yard+ touchdown on one play. God taught me a lesson there. Now if you go back and look at my record over the years predicting MSU’s record on message boards…..I haven’t been that far off. I’ll add to that prediction as always when I predict doom….I hope I’m wrong.I’ll take you up on this bet right now. We win both games
2-10 taking over this roster6-6 (maybe)
But he didn’t, ESPECIALLY on defense. The defensive talent level was doing what it always did under Leach, everywhere he went.….disappearing. That worked, to some extent, in the PAC and the Big 12….but you still have to at least TRY to play defense in the SEC.Wish leach would have left us a smidgeon of talent
Awww fuuukkI been to practice have you 85…
You don't know **** either. You may have the access you claim to have, but you can't comprehend what you see in practice with some of your takes about how great our defense was going to be last year.I’m thinking.. go with me here….you don’t know ****. Just saying. Missed you at practice and in the Seal
in other words, we need a Dan to develop talent and a ______________to recruit.im afraid five Star talent isn’t in the cards, being able to evaluate talent in the portal seems to be a job requirement, then being able to coach up and win with talent this school can afford.
Leach's classes were all ranked in the 20s. So STFU with that lie.Wish leach would have left us a smidgeon of talent
This is the dumbest post I have ever read and that says a lot coming from youLeach's classes were all ranked in the 20s. So STFU with that lie.
Not only that, he had an incredibly high hit rate in the portal, and he likely would have continued that. Portal nowadays is part of life, and Arnett bungled it on offense for sure. Heavy Lebby finished the tank job by bungling it with the rest of the team.
We are the dumbest fanbase on earth, and that's why MSU football has been relegated to entertainment for me. I can't imagine still following practice reports and worrying about Ole Miss and all that garbage. I am convinced that because we live in the shadow on not only Ole Miss, but also Alabama being so close, it amplifies the inferiority complex. We can't think for ourselves and we constantly strive to be like others with more support, players, population and money in some weird misguided attempt to fit in. We also live in a divided state where probably 35-40% cheer for others besides the big 2 instate. That doesn't leave much left for us. And then our own Starkville businesses try and fleece the fanbase as much as possible during football season, guess they've all given up and seen the reality as well, and are like, I'll get mine. You're probably part of that, I would imagine. I still think you are cowbell9.
I mean it all makes sense. When I moved back to Jackson, I was expecting to see some MSU pride and loyalty around. NOPE. There's as many LSU fans there as MSU. The radio stations discuss the whole SEC and drool all over the other college towns. Our players go elsewhere. And that's not just Jackson, that's everywhere in the state, but I mention Jackson because that's the damned capital and right in the center. It just gets worse the closer you get to other states' borders.
It's just a futile effort without a coach like Leach, and until we get this through our thick skulls, we'll continue to sit here on this message board debating stupid shlt like how Mike 17ing Leach supposedly was a bad coach and left us in a bad spot. Just unbelievable stupidity.
Remind me again how many defensive players he left us that would start at another sec school?Leach's classes were all ranked in the 20s. So STFU with that lie.

If we lose 53-16 he better walk out on the field and stone cold stun him, give him the double bird, pour two beers on him, and THEN fire him.I had a dream/nightmare earlier this week that USM won 53-16 and Selmon fired him on the field after game.
Curtis Nicholson? I think you mean Nicholson from Petal that transferred out then got in the portal again. He wouldn't help much. Collins would and we tried to keep him but he wanted out.Pretty sure Audavion Collins and Curtis Nicholson would have helped. Trevion, Dinkins and Deontae Anderson are all talented players. It is sad and pathetic isn’t it, the guy is cheerleading for a recruiting class that will be in the 50s after 2-10 and trying to blame a guy who had classes in the 20s and died theee yers ago after going 9-4.Leach's classes were all ranked in the 20s. So STFU with that lie.

Isn't this more about the point spread than which team wins the game? Not a bettor so know little about it.
That's what makes MSU football a very difficult job. You have to do more with less. Then, if you're a good coach, you leave so you can attract better talent and see just how good you can be. It's a cycle. It's probably why Mullen wanted to leave.im afraid five Star talent isn’t in the cards, being able to evaluate talent in the portal seems to be a job requirement, then being able to coach up and win with talent this school can afford.
