If I read your question correctly it kinda puts you at the low end of the pool. So there's a starting point for you.
well now we see you and Rutgersal as being that dumb. good to put it out there, thanks

I made no comment on the hire, only on your question. So apparently you are lacking in reading comprehension as well as talent evaluation. As for Rutgersal I would take him all day, as a true fan, over a fake fan who complains about everything!

offensive analyst folks, not an OC or even a position coach

Northwestern is hiring a former Big Ten OC as an offensive analyst?
Sounds like something the elite teams usually do - Alabama hiring former HCs in cheap staff positions.

Isn't our top offensive assistant Scott Vallone - a former DL?
I've long been a critic of the coaching staff makeup (too many defensive coaches).
Our support staff is even worse last time I checked.

He actually may have picked a worse offense to work in . He’s following the Andy buh career model

I'd say Frig was our last great coach under Greg.

NW is just doing this on the off chance Gleeson has any insights into our offense their coaches can lean on in their game against us. Costs them virtually nothing.

If this is true.. NW must think beating Rutgers is worth the price of his contract. Wow..hiring a guy that can help you against what was teh worst offense in the Big Ten last year. That's either genius or the ultimate sign of desperation.

Did they also hire a Minnesota coach who could talk about Ciarocca?

This one game must be sooo important to them. I know it is for us.

Offensive analyst:
Polite way of saying I’ll do anything to get back into college football coaching
Worked out ok for Steve Sarkisian and Lane Kiffin. It’s actually more of a how can I work and still let Rutgers pay the bills.

I think that it will still happen. Still a young man with stints at two B1G 10 schools under his belt plus Big 12 I can see him getting a Sun Belt job
Agree. I seem to remember a few years ago, we had an OC that everyone said was worthless. Worst in the country. If I recall, he’s now one of the highest paid OC’s in the country. Where did he end up again….

Wasn’t he an assistant coach at his kids HS or something after getting the boot from Rutgers? It’s kinda a step up
getting paid ( by old employer) while waiting for the next oppertunity at the college level and helping his kid is a damm good move by him and no one should knock using paid time to be be closer to family and help the program a family member is involved with.

You talking about Drew Mehringer who is TE coach at Oregon?

What a strange post.

Ummmmm. I’m talking about this guy.
Kirk Ciarrocca
You quoted a post about an OC who is very highly paid. Then you offered up a TE coach and called my post weird?
