...if Sean Payton could take a perennial loser like the hapless New Orleans Saints, and turn them into Super Bowl champs, imagine what he could do with the greatest franchise in all of sports. If/when Payton became the Cowboys head coach, America's team would probably win 6-7 Super Bowls in a row.

America will cease to be America when it no longer relishes in the victory of the raggedy upstart overa "dynasty" like the Cowboys.

The five Cowboys fans on this board are more annoying than the hoardes of Kentucky imbeciles that came on here talking smack after our game with them. The Cowboysare to the NFL as Notre Dame is to the BCS.Tradition and money gets them mentioned, but everyone knows they won't be a challenger when postseason play rolls around.

I hate that we had to literally beat the living hell out of Brett Favre and not that ***** Tony Romo. Romo would have probably retired after that beating.

With revenue sharing and the draft every NFL job is pretty much equal. The only differences would be the quality of the front offices. And the last decade or so clearly show that the Saints front office is at least as good as the Cowboys, and most likely better.

What's sad is you actually believe the stupid **** you're spewing. It's been fifteen years and counting since America's Former Team was relevant in the playoffs.

...the Salary Cap is what destroyed the Cowboy dynasty of the 1990's, not just Jimmy Johnson leaving. With Jerruh spending unlimited funds, we should be able to pick off the best players and coaches in the league that we want. Then, the Cowboys will once again take their rightful place on the top of professional sports.

Gutty underdog stories like the perennially hopeless, hapless, downtrodden Saints actually winning a Super Bowl is sure nice, in a "Rocky" sorta way, but when it's all said and done, cream eventually rises to the top.

Any fan of the Texas Rangers or Baltimore Orioles can tell you that. Even for the New York Yankees sometimes it's worked and sometimes it hasn't. Not to mention it's only one uncapped year.
