Season turning win

As great as it is to sweep Ole Mississippi, this was a particularly sweet win for a number of reasons...

- it's Ole Miss, obvious

- we were in a funk, and the athleticism and effort we showed tonight brought back the idea that this can be a Sweet Sixteen team (and if your a SS team, a Final Four is a possibility)

- not only was this the most satisfying win of the season, it was pretty easily the best win of the season. We easily handled a clear Top 25 team on their home court. And they came in playing really well.

- everybody that is a contributor contributed. True team win.

I haven't enjoyed one like that in quite a while. Watching those cucks and their sisters slinking outta their pavilion in those ugly *** blue shirts with our name emblazoned on their chests made my sticker peck up....

As excited as I am, please pump the breaks for a second. This is no doubt a strong victory, but let’s see what performance we give vs A&M before we even think of winning a tournament game for the first time since 2008. Sweet 16 talk is absurd right now, just because that hasn’t happened for us since 1996. Could it happen for for us absolutely! It’s February though, still got 5 games left in regular season.

With all that said I’m so very proud of the boys. I was the most upset I ever had been in the Jans era after the Florida game. Tonight was a top 3 or 4 Jans victory. Behind both Tennessee wins last year, and tied with the AU win last year. Just a glorious bounce back victory.

One of the biggest things I noticed (beyond us playing well) is that when ole miss had open 3s, they missed. Get that against UK and Bama, and the scores probably look the same

What we saw was a glimpse of what this team can achieve when every player shows up. Hubbard and Cam were not at their peak, yet the rest of the team carried them for the victory. That is a great sign.

The most amazing thing we didn't see last night. If Hubbard had been on, that team on the floor could have beaten anybody. And all of this on the road too, which is also a great sign.

Would love to see the remaining games look like what we saw. Total team playing, with mutiple players able to hurt the opponent. No one mentally or physically absent. All were marked present lol.

And the refs kept it much closer than the final score indicates. Great team win.

They missed some open shots but I thought we defended the 3 much better in general. There were several possessions where it looked like they wanted to shoot a 3 but our recovery was good so they had to keep passing it around and either turned it over or missed a shot.
