I could be wrong, but a quick glance at portal rankings seems to indicate that almost everyone we've brought in is an upgrade over the player that left.
Yea, for the most part it looks like we exchanged OL that weren't ready to play this year for other OL that werent' ready to play this year. No clue about the potential of the ones we're getting versus the ones we're "losing".

Tough position for the coaches; you have to go after him even if it hurts a current player's feelings. But seems crazy that we would lose an OL we otherwise would like to keep because of chasing a guy we had a 1% chance of getting from the start. It's like you're boss firing you because you buy a lottery ticket. I mean, yea, possibly you're going to come in in a couple of days and **** on his desk before telling him to 17 off. But it's very unlikely you're going to do that and it seems like the odds should matter.

Well, if we don't get Seaton I guess we should have plenty of money in the pot to try and get James back, if we want, given what we know we would have paid Seaton.

We will find out where Seaton is going today. Im glad we are getting Sneh. Maybe his shortness gives him better leverage. Leavitt will suck at LSU imo. Another case of " well he certainly has all the physical tools" the commentators say just before he throws another interception

Well, Seaton didn’t go to Oregon but Oregon went to Seaton. Kiffin is a borderline stalker and took the private jet to intercept Oregon but It didn't work.

Are you forgetting what Kiffin did to Trinidad

He did leave LSU without signing. Oregon HC visited him at his home. The cynical state fan in me feels like we are still in it but are just being used to drive the price up.

I suspect we are "in it" as a courtesy to Loadholt. We probably will offer above market, which will make sure he maximizes the money from LSU or Oregon, but I assume the two of them would have gotten tot he same number regardless of whether we were willing to pay above "market".

On3 say that Markell Bell accepted a Senior Bowl invite so that looks like another pipe dream myth busted.

If our staff gives James more than a bus ticket home they truly are idiots

I say we let him walk if he's mad that were trying to improve our awful OL. He obviously doesn't want to win anyway
