1. Is there any chance that the school that has withdrawn its consent is anyone other than Texas?
2. What type of litigation could come from this? The only thing I can think of is some sort of antitrust suit, stating that the SEC and A&M conspired to destroy the Big 12.

Whatever the case, I think it's pretty clear to everyone that the Big 12's days are numbered, so this seems like nothing more than a childish attempt to sling mud while they still have a chance. They're just delaying the inevitable.

Baylor is about to get left out in the cold when the Big XII splits up. This is Ken Starr's last ditch effort to block A&M, and hopefully delay the talks between Tx, OU, and the PAC-X.

I am also curious what sort of lawsuit they could even file. I thought the Big XII agreement had a buyout clause, which essentially is liquidated damages for breaking the deal, and should prevent seeking any further damages. Perhaps there is some other theory, though, since A&M's move is basically destroying the conference, not just causing financial harm.
