Just wonder who you guys think gets to 6 wins out of the East between Tennessee, Vandy, and Kentucky. All 3 have to play each other . Here are their remaining schedules :

Tennessee (4-5)

Kentucky (4-5)

Vanderbilt (4-5)

This could have a direct effect on us if we get to 6 as well considering 2 of these teams are from Tennessee and two of the 3 bowl games we might end up in (Music City,Liberty,Birmingham)are in Tennessee (Liberty, Music City) and those bowls might feel inclined to take the in-state teams. If none of these teams get to six, which could happen, we will be going to Nashville which would be our best scenario as Florida State could very well be there. Vandy playing at Wake Forrest Thanksgiving weekend will be a tough game considering Wake is playing some good football this year.

Vandy got screwed blind at Florida. the refs were not letting Florida lose, period, and it was sad to watch that fact.

..the winner of the Vandy vs. UT game will get 6 wins, the rest fall by the wayside.

All those teams have to play 2 out of 3 games on the road.

Kentucky? Finished.

Vandy? Will beat UK, will not beat WF. Must beat UT.

UT? Will suffer beatdown @ UPig. @ UK a toss-up. Must beat either Vandy or UK to get 6 or 7 wins.

Final conclusion: UT is the only team of the trio that ends up with 6 wins.

I have no idea how that scenario would affect MSU's bowl positioning.

Tennessee is worst case for us. I think we get picked over Vandy or Kentucky, but not TN.

ut MUST beat vandy AND ky to get to 6- i dont think they beat Vandy- so 5-7
ky is done may pull the upset vs UT or Vandy, but not both- so 5-7 at best
Vandy possibly wins 2 out of 3 so- 6-6
music city bowl would have to choose between 6-6 vandy or 6-6 MSU if we only win 1 out of the next 3

pointed out that supposedly the Liberty Bowl picks before the Music City this year, and are very much wanting us. I'd much rather go to the Music City Bowl, but am having trouble coming up with a scenario where, if the former is true, we'll go to Nashville.

Florida and Tennessee would get priority over State just due to program history and larger fanbase. Not necessarily the way it should be, but it's the way it would be. Vandy would be a popular bowl choice due to their bowl rarity and 'rising program', but in dollars and cents State would be chosen over Vandy. They simply don't have the fans. State would bring more fans than Vandy, even to Nashville. <div>
</div><div>I don't want to play Houston anywhere, much less the Liberty Bowl. We've played them two years in a row already, and they're a LOT better than when we beat them last year. I'd much rather face Miami in the MCB. </div>
