SEC East v. SEC West

After LSU defeated Tennessee last night and Ole Miss beat Kentucky , The SEC East is only 7-5 versus the SEC West. Does this help the perception that the SEC West is really not as bad as everyone perceives , or does anybody really pay attention to these types of things?</p>

I think it will just cause the national media to think less of UT and UK, which were two SEC teams they thought were decent. I don't see it helping the West from a national standpoint.

I think it will just add to the perception that SEC is having a "down year". And the only bright lights in the SEC this year arn't really that good either.
