You see, the Bulldogs hurt a lot on bankrolls last weekend when they won four games in four days, all as a pooch, and now those same bettors are reluctant to bet against them. We usually find value in dogs but because the Bulldogs made so much noise in the conference tournament, they're the ones overvalued here. They had a ton of momentum last week and celebrated on Sunday like they had just won the national championship. These teams that go on to win four games in four days to get into this event have a history of bowing out easy in the first round, as we saw with Georgia last year (outscored 47-26 by Xavier in the second half) and with Arkansas three years ago, whom was completely whacked. The Bulldogs are a team that will go ice cold for several minutes and in a letdown spot you can almost be assured that'll happen. They'll also have to contend with Jon Brockman, an absolute monster out there that dominates the boards and hunts down every rebound. The Huskies won seven of its last eight games and I much prefer teams that disappointed in the conference tourny as oppose to a team that used up every ounce of energy and had everything go its way. The Huskies are the superior squad here with a strong defense in a great spot. Play: Washington -6 (Risking 2.2 units to win 2).

Other than winning 4 games in 4 days and both being Bulldogs there is not a single similarity in State and last year's Georgia team. I do not understand why I keep seeing that comparison. The more I see the SEC crapped on the more I hope State, UT, and LSU all advance deep into the Dance. The "SEC sucks" talk has almost taken on a life of its own.
