SEC Network Alternate Channels to Broadcast Sat.

The problem is 611-1 does not exist on DirecTV. It doesn't show up on the guide, and nothing happens when you just manually enter it.

They aren't showing Comcast at this link but on my old clunker the network is on 716 and then on 708 and 709 there is an SEC logo but nothing showing so I'm assuming those two are alternates. 1738 is my HD sec channel but dont see HD alternates

Hopefully yours will be in HD and not SD. I talked with a Directv tech rep., for Mississippi, yesterday, and she told me the 611-1 on Directv would be in HD. She also said that on Directv, it should be showing on the guide pretty soon.

Figures. A week earlier would have been better. But what else would you expect from such a fine, upstanding, service-oriented company.

What do you know. Comcast now has 2 alt SEC HD channels in the Memphis market.
