After Tuberville made it to congress, I'm sure Senator Kiffin will do just fine after he retires at LSU.

I'm not sure this isn't all him performing a massive troll, but I really have a hard time believing that a University like LSU would let any coach impact their coaching search in this way (waiting a week) without an absolute confirmation of his intention. I would think they would have moved on to other candidates if there wasn't an assured legal agreement of some kind in hand. It's hard for me to see a place with multiple national titles and the ability to rebuild in one season allowing themselves to be pushed around, but who knows? ........... Personally, I don't know why he'd go anywhere. I had the same thoughts regarding Dan Mullen. Stay there (or here for Dan) and you'll be the greatest that's ever been there. Might put a statue of you in front of the stadium. Or, take a chance and get fired in a few years and be remembered as just another coach. ........ I personally hope he goes. Mainly for the meltdown entertainment.

Coaches leave schools like Mississippi and Mississippi State for places like Florida and LSU because they want to win a national championship. That's the ultimate goal and you're not going to get there in Mississippi.
