but I was disappointed to see a column not written by Barry and Levon when I clicked the link.

That's why I think Auburn's stadium is the one we should pattern ours off of. Put in an ordinary looking endzone section and finance it with refurbished box/club seats on the west side.

9. MISSISSIPPI STATE, DAVIS WADE STADIUM

It makes no sense that the SEC outlaws the use of cowbells — artificial noise makers, according to the league — yet permits schools to crank up video and audio boards to ear-splitting decibels.

I think this is a great point. What is the difference in 40K cowbells & ear-splitting audio systems?

but it has been labeled the cowbell rule for a reason. If (and this is a BIG if) other schools are fined, then I will believe the party line. Until then...

Auburn is a nice stadium, architecturally and all. Looks nice. Looks like it was all designed at once, whether it was or not.

But noise-wise it doesn't hold a candle to Tiger Stadium. Maybe because LSU fans are the craziest, I dunno. I just know last year's trip to Auburn was nothing like going to Tiger Stadium.

I thought that was something that was generally not done by everyone, but of course i don't really pay attention to that either.

was sitting on the top deck. All of the sound is directed up there, and you can barely hear it on the field and on the lower decks.
