After the next couple of weekends everyone may be pissed because of who we will be playing, but the end of our schedule is very favorable. 4 of our last 6 series are against teamswho currently havelosing SEC records. We still have a chance of getting to Hoover even with the bad weekend we just had.

We are on pace to get 13 wins. Not time to panic yet. Even if we get swept by Florida, it's not time to panic. We still have a ton of baseball left to play against opponents that are very beatable.

As long as we can keep our heads up through this next stretch, which is brutal, we will have a chance to get to Hoover.

Just like the ego boost we got from beating Vandy on Sunday, getting swept could have an equally bad effect.

Because of confidence. I think if we can beat USM on Tuesday, that would restore some of our confidence. Being back in Starkville will help our team out some as well.

Hitting is like this- it can come and go for whatever reason. We had trouble against Sacred Heart as well, but then we were able to come back and hit well for a couple of games, then we struggled against Vandy for two games, and then hit the ball really well for five straight.

I imagine that tommorrow and Tuesday that they will be working a lot on situational hitting as much as they can with the weather. Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if they worked on it as soon as they got back from Athens because of the short turnaround.
