Sorry we aren't falling over backwards to praise your C-USA divisional title and eventual trip to the Liberty Bowl, buzzard fans. Fact is, Ole Miss would be at least a 6-6 team in that conference, and we'd have run the table this year with your pathetic schedule.

"Southern Miss - TO THE T---- Oh ****, it's UAB!"

I don't mind a little **** talking here and there, but they are absolutely insane. They go as far to the point in saying that there is NO WAY we'd go undefeated with their schedule as if their schedule is something to brag about. Truthfully, we wouldn't know since we're not going to have their schedule (thankfully)... but they talk about their competition as if it's a right to brag.

My understanding is that the Liberty Bowl has the 1st pick from CUSA but they don't have to pick the champion. If USM beats Houston and knocks them out of a BCS bowl, I bet the Liberty would take a 12-1 Houston team over an 11-2 USM team. I know I would if I were them.

You could be right and I am not arguing but I heard that Liberty Bowl has to take the Con USA champs. If that Champ is not available then the Bowl has to chose from the Big East. Thenthat bowl game in Birminghamloses the Big East pick but would pick up a Conference USA team. I may not be explaining it correctly but just what I heard. These bowl tie ends are really silly. Everything should be at large in my opinion. Even the ones being used for the BCS except the BCS championship game.

Those misfits lost to UAB and are about to be destroyed by Houston and they are running their mouths? They can't beg and plead with more than 17 to 20k people show up on gameday and they are running smack about being a better program? I have seen a grand total of 2...II...Dos...Duo...???... Southern car tags in Tupelo. Irrelevance....thy name is Directional Mississippi University.

Man.. reality is going to set in hard come a couple of years out. What ever happened to the "Anyone...Anytime....Anywhere" slogan? They start getting the foot up the *** and then have to change it? I think it started in the front office as "Anyone...Anytime...Anywhere to Pick up a check".

Is that the C-USA champion gets to play the 8th place SEC team in a bowl. If that does not demonstrate the inferiority of that conference then I don't know what does.

If Larry Fedora was offered the Ole Miss job -- he'd take it IN A HEARTBEAT.

It's better to coach at a doormat SEC program than to coach at a "Championship" C-USA school.

I know it, you know it, and deep down inside the buzzards know it too.

Because doing a .500 job at MSU or Ole Miss gets you mentioned for the opening at Miami, Florida, and Penn State. Going 10-3 in C-USA gets you mentioned....for the Ole Miss job.

Is the fact that a lot of their starting lineup would be on the shelf for the remainder of the season come week 7 or 8 in the SEC because of their overall lack of size combined with less overall speed. Their D Lineman are just slightly larger than most SEC LB's. Their total team size would be exploited even by the worst SEC teams. SEC defensive player size is even noticeably different than every big 12 team, barring Oklahoma and sometimes Texas. I've been on the sidelines for SEC, Big 12 and CUSA games and seen all conferences up close.

The only times they ever competed with superior competition in OOC was when Bower was there. He had some pretty good defenses that laid the wood.

An Arctic explorer, stranded 10 degrees from the North Pole in the dead of winter, with no means of communication until the six month long night ends, is less isolated than the average fan at a USM home game.

Its the fact that our defensive lineman areas fast as your linebackers and our linebackers are as fast as your secondary. And I dont care who your offensive line is, they arent stopping Fletcher Cox. Nobody in the SEC has been able to do it, so its not exactly an insult. Its just the facts.
