Who was not surprised puke got the overall # 1. UNC # 1 Really? IMO we should have been #1or 2 in the south. I like our draw but the A C C media / committee suck fest is so obvious Four # 1 seeds. Really? Uk has been top 4 All year long. Ginny loses, UNCeat loses, and we lose on referee calls. SMH.

Lol, how is it possible to jump over a team with both as 2 seeds but get matched with the overall 1??

Don't think our bracket is necessarily tough; it's just the type of teams that we could face that makes me nervous. Wofford has the guy that is going to pass JJ Reddick for most 3's in a career and Houston has several guys that can shoot the 3 well.

Yeah but I mean......if we lose to Wofford.......i mean come on lol.

Then we were never going anywhere to begin with

Their tallest starter is 6'8" and four of their five average double figures. They shoot 41% from the three so they're definitely an up tempo team. Their leading scorer is 6'6" and averages about 14ppg. They'll be undersized against us so I fully expect them to jack up about 50 three's. They're in the same conference as Stephen F. Austin and Sam Houston State so it's not a bad conference at all.
Payton Ricks is their best outside shooter and I believe he's a junior, at least. He's 79-193 from three point distance this season and translates to about 41%.

Don’t know how I feel about Houston...haven’t seen them play much and don’t think they really scheduled anyone.
Very athletic with a premier scorer in Davis. Have to guard them on drives and inside they have 15 fouls to give and will use most of them. Have to have a big game from our bigs. Have to play it cool.

The thing is Florida State should have been a 3 seed in my opinion. They were awarded the top 3 ACC teams but screw the fourth-ranked one

so far IMO...UNC has gotten the worst screw job

The committee likes to pair us with KU in their back yard. You get used to it after a while. Chances are you're going to face some tough competition no matter what starting in the E8, so no real complaints.

Interesting they didn't care about balancing the regions this year with 1/2 seeds

1 Duke vs 6 MSU
2 Virginia vs 5 Tennessee
3 North Carolina vs 7 Kentukcy
4 Gonzaga vs 8 Michigan

What the hell ?

They talked about balance and did nothing close.

We should been swapped with Tennessee and MSU and MIchigan should been swapped.

Well Cal sure pushed for it last night, so they did it out of spite while Mitch sucked his thumb outside the room...

I'll take whatever Clark Kellogg is drinking!!

Holy ish he just picked Houston out of the Midwest.
Houston is a very tough and athletic team that ran into the UC defense too many times today. We would have to play very tough and not lose our cool or get in foul trouble. PJ of course is the key. Can he stay in the game?

I dunno how people can be mad as this bracket.

A UNC team we already handled on a neutral court this season.
A Houston team that's prob the weakest 3.

Avoided teams like Duke, UVA and Gonzaga

**** lol

They set Duke up away from anyone with a chance. That is the easiest cakewalk in history.

Houston can easily beat this team. Throw in Seaton Hall who’s already found a way to beat us. It’s the little things, they can’t just hand it over. The little things add up. That’s how they dictate.

No Louisville. UNC and Duke always get North Carolina regardless.

Kansas in KC.

Go through 2 blue bloods before the title game.

They know we travel so they don’t care about Louisville.

Playing in KC potentially against Kansas eliminates our advantage.

Again they can’t just hand it over to Duke, but they want the little things to add.

It’s an unbalanced and terrible bracket.

I’d much rather have Virginia or Gonzaga or just be in Louisville. We got none.

You can ignore St. Mary’s beating Gonzaga or Virginia just last year showing that their system is highly vulnerable, but the NCAA committee was well aware of it.

It’s not that our side is terrible, but they couldn’t just F everything 100%. They did it enough though.

Stats won’t tell you this.

I don't need stats to tell me UVA and Gonzaga are good. They are better than UNC. If they played each other on a neutral court they both would be favored over UNC. And they would be favored for a reason.

Dude whatever with that stupid bulls.

Because you’re consumed with stats that don’t tell you the full story. Throw the seasonal stats out the f’ng window. There are variables they don’t cover.

I have to completely question your basketball knowledge when you say that. UNC just about beat Duke THREE straight times. They lost on a tip. WITH ZION. They are the second best team in the nation.

Virginia is a pretender. I dgaf about what they did 2 months ago against Wake.

Gonzaga just lost to St. f’n Mary’s. Their Duke win was early. It’s irrelevant.

You damn right I’d rather have Gonzaga or Virginia than UNC. It doesn’t take much to get understand it.

UNC 103
Gonzaga 90

On a neutral court. Yep, Gonzaga is better. They already proved it on the floor.
