NCAA will do nothing. PORTAL is bad .... out of control. NIL is worse. This is what happens when nobody is in control. Schools with the most money 💰 will leave the rest behind.

The NCAA is going to have to get a handle on the portal ASAP. Even the NBA and NFL have free agency periods and trade deadlines.
Might as well abolish the NCAA and let the division and conference members make the rules. Talk about a fall from grace. NCAA used to have everyone spooked and now no gives gives a crap about the ncaa thinks.

Not much can be done because the players had to sue to get rights. Had the schools/ conferences/ NCAA done something to share with the players then things might have been different.

Now the coaches and schools will have to work harder to be a place the best athletes want to be. Theyll also have to work hard to make sure their players also have lucrative financial opportunities.

The transfer portal was born on October 15, 2018, and was intended to make the transfer process quicker and easier for players and coaches alike. It was intended to give the players more power through the transfer process, allowing them to leave a situation that was toxic or simply just wasn’t working for them. What it has turned into is free agency at the college level. There used to be a rule in place that if you were to transfer out of your current program, you would have to sit out for a season to become eligible again.

The Transfer Portal needs to be closed during the regular season and players become eligible to transfer after their team has played their final game of the season. This would allow time for players and coaches to work out their differences midseason and keep players from making brash decisions.

The players get a free education. The presidents are to blame for the outrages salary's for the head coaches.

College sports will now crumble over the ignorance and lack of control.
