Did we do our starters a disservice by not having them play much in the second halves of the first part of our schedule? I recognize the positives of doing what we did. We reduced the risk of injuries, season fatigue, and our young guys got valuable playing time.
As of right now though, it looks like our starters needed the extra time on the field. I am also wondering if the way those games were coached, meaning we played vanilla, that our team just never created a fighting attitude. Did we believe we would win without fighting for it?
